About Rock Academy Inc.

Rock Academy Inc is a music school for young musicians ten years of age and up.  

It is a place to come together to meet other musicians, form bands, and perform concerts, all under the direction of professionals.

Our experienced teachers work on song structure, timing, cueing, performance skills and group decision-making with classes of four to eleven students.

Each session is eight weeks and culminates in a live concert!

REQUIREMENTS:
1.  Student plays guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards or sings
2.  Student has had at least one year of formal training on their instrument
3.  Student works with a private teacher who assists the student in learning the songs or student is at a level where they can learn the songs on their own (we have teachers on staff available for teaching private lessons)

HOW IT WORKS:
1.  The student/parent submits a completed registration form
2.  Each session runs for eight weeks
3.  Two initial songs are assigned to each level
4.  The student learns the assigned songs before the session begins
5.  The student arrives at their designated time with their instrument (amps, drums, and microphones are provided)
6.  The band and teacher decide together what additional songs they will be practicing and performing
7.  The student works with the other musicians and their coach to rehearse the songs as a band and work on group performance skills
8.  The band performs at a concert open to family and friends at the conclusion of the session
