Riverside Marriott

My complaint is solely based on my experience with the night manager “Alfred”. We parked in the lot and saw a sign of $29 daily maximum. Upon leaving a few hours later the machine was charging us $50 for the couple hours parking there. The sign clearly said $29 daily maximum. So I go to the front desk and I kindly ask to be charged the rate it states on the sign. All I got from Alfred was rude remarks saying the price changed due to the holiday and he has an email with the policy. I said great that email doesn’t advise customers of the rate when they enter the lot. He goes “oh you didn’t see that rate until after”, neglecting the fact that I’m a customer and I have a valid point. After arguing for over 20 minutes and requesting I speak to his manager he still said no and that I would have to pay $50. It wasn’t until I went to take pictures of the signs and told him I would sue for false advertisement did he call his manager and charge me the $29. Long story short the customer service is terrible, and I am very concerned at how they conduct business. Alfred was rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. I will never be staying here or parking here ever again.

I always enjoy my stay at the Riverside Marriott. I have stayed on many occasions for conferences. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they explain my access to extras due to my current BonVoy status which makes the stay even more delightful. The rooms are always clean and quiet. I feel very much at home at this hotel.

This hotel has a Grand shower experience with a comfortable mattress offering various food options inside the hotel. Very walkable area to many other restaurants and bars. Try the catacombs tours offered at Mission Inn hotel/Restaurant.

Property is well maintained, clean and up to date. Staff is polite and very efficient. The concierge lounge is an embarrassment but it's Riverside and not the Riviera. You're there because you have to be and they know it.

Really nice room, comfy bed. The staff at check in was great. I would stay here again, everything was walking distance. At night it was all lite up and the weather was beautiful. Went to tio taco that was so interesting. Lots of restaurants close by.
