Update - Not such a great experience with their warranty department. We have been without our master show for over 2 months now. Finally we thought we would get the work done, took 2 days off of work so they could start the project and on the first day no one showed.

I wouldn't use them to build my doghouse! Complete unprofessionalism I've ever experienced! My husband was hired by this company a few years ago and was given the runaround for over a month as to when his start date would be. When the guy that hired him finally returned his calls he was more interested in talking about his drunken weekend getaway with his wife than a starting day. My husband ended up taking a job with a different home builder. Just a few weeks ago he had an interview with Richfield via telephone. He was then scheduled for an in person interview at their Longmont office. As soon as he arrived he was told that the person doing the interview wasn't there and they would call him back. Didn't receive a call back but an email instead stating that they decided to go with someone else.
After reading all of the bad reviews I have about this company and their lack of professionalism and work I believe now that they actually did us a huge FAVOR!!

I spoke with our HR department and they had a different recollection of this series of events. Please have you husband call our offices and we can discuss this further.

I'm very happy with the professionalism of the sales associates at the Berthoud and Longmont offices. Meghan McKee in the Longmont office goes the extra mile and it is apparent that she cares about what she does!

My buying and building experience with Richfield Homes thus far has been great! The professionalism that each person I have come into contact with throughout this process has reassured me that I made the right choice when choosing a builder! Lannie and Thad my sales associate and construction manager have exceeded my expectations with keeping me in the loop when it comes to the home building process. I am very excited for my home to complete within the next few months and can't wait to see it finished with all the beautiful options that I was able to select with the help of Lindsay the design manager.
