Rhino Shield of Indiana

I called Rhino Shield of Indiana to quote our home exterior after getting a few quotes from other painting contractors. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with, from the quoting process right through to completion. My house exterior was coated, and the finishing touches were perfect! My colors look gorgeous; beautiful job done! The service I received was incredibly perfect!! Highly recommend :)

We are very pleased with our entire Rhino Shield experience. Due to Covid challenges we had to delay our paint job and Amy in the office worked with us to get the job done when we were ready. Isael and his painting crew were timely, polite, and hardworking. Our house looks fabulous. We especially appreciated Isael's keeping us informed of each step of the process and for working within our budget to fix some damage on our house.

I do not recommend Rhino Shield. We had our house done last summer and the old color shows at every seam of our vinyl siding. They sent one of the crew leaders out to touch it up with a cheap foam brush and he showed up 2 hours late. Several places were missed on my house as they rushed through it to get on to the next job. My Wife looked out at one point and saw three of the crew members standing on our hot tub cover as they worked on our chimney. I had to buy a new one. I expected a much more professional job for the amount of money I paid. I am very disappointed. Rhino Shield was a big, overpriced mistake.

This is the second review posted by the same person for the same reason. To recap: We were slower on our services last year due to covid restrictions. However when we did schedule your service we gave you a weeks notice and you said you were not available because of a vacation. That led your service to be moved down the list. The service was still completed in 2020. Now to root of the problem. Your job was scheduled in 2016 and upon inspection from the crew doing the job you already had rotten and questionable siding. At that time we made you aware and provided a quote to replace the materials. You declined and wanted it painted anyway. 4 years later it had gotten worse so we sent out a service crew that you paid directly to fix the siding and then recoat with Rhino Shield. So with that being said your complaint wouldn't exist if you would've replaced what was recommended at the time of the installation in 2016. Now that this is resolved can we either update the review or withdraw the complaint? As you can see there was already on going issues with said siding that he did not want to address and we replaced the t1-11 siding and recoated it in Oct 2020. Well I have called a half dozen times this year leaving weeks in-between my calls without any call back. I have had to continually call and no one has ever called me back once with what the process would be. Around the 4th time I called they finally said they would send someone out to take a look. They did come take a look, but the only way I knew that was from my Ring Doorbell. I never heard anything from anyone at your company. Weeks later still no word on what they determined when they came out. Not leaving me feeling very confident on how this was going to work out. So the last time I called you again about the upstairs not matching the downstairs I was told that you were just getting going again. Nobody ever called or said yes the colors do not match and we will take care of it. That is all I was looking for. Until your reply I wasn't even sure what the plan was.

I'm not sure why you gave a 1 star review. When you called in about your house I went out the same day to see what was going on. I let you know that we were not open yet for the season. Last week was actually our first week back. I let you know that you are on the list to get a service crew out and that you would be getting a call as soon as we are able to get to you.

Their product after just 2 years cause major wood rot. Our house was 4 years old when they painted. We have to replace any piece of wood that they painted.I'm so fortunate that I only had them paint the trim and not the entire house. On top of that we have green mold growing on half a dozen places. This paint is supposed to be mold-free. They are horrible to deal with and I would not recommend using this company. They definitely don't stand behind their work.

We have never done business with a Shawn Williams whatsoever. From what we know about this, he had an issue with another RS authorized dealer and now has placed negative reviews on completely separate company sites all over the place. If you need more information, please contact our company.
