Nothing that they offered in the paxkqxage was said to be true. The restaurant was closed, the club was closed, they are short staffed so basically everything is closed. Also they charge for the nternet and parking please don't believe the adds if you are shopping through a travel website. Also no room service. Clean hotel with just swimming pool and fitness center no amenities no restaurants no clubs are open no complimentary Wi-Fi no complimentary parking

Most definitely no longer a 4-star hotel; the Renaissance Richardson is at best operating at a 2.5 to 3-star level (see below). For this class and price, there are much better options nearby.

This once amazing hotel that I used to love staying at was apparently hit hard by COVID. Other hotels in the area have been back to full operation for awhile (well lets be honest... this is Texas, so most hotels just added hand sanitizer dispensers to the entryways and kept up business as usual otherwise), however Renaissance is still severely hobbled and in no way offers a 4-star experience.

The restaurant is still shut down, the amenities have been downgraded, the once fantastic staff is quite accommodating but has clearly been culled and is feeling the stress of too few employees. As a result, the rooms and common areas are showing some severe signs of this lack of adequate attention.

I really liked this hotel in the past and I hope they get some proper resuscitation soon; I still phone to inquire about booking a room whenever I'm in Dallas on business, but until this hotel brings back its full staff and facilities and stops using the "COVID crutch", I'll be staying elsewhere.

Dear Jason R, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I'm very sorry that your recent stay did not mirror your previous experience. The details definitely do make a trip and we regret we missed the mark. I will present your review to my team so we may address your observations and find solutions to improve in the areas that were not satisfactory. Once again, on behalf of our entire team - I offer our apologies. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you with the stay you've come to expect and deserve. Sincerely, Ben Logan General Manager

I've been to several events at the Renaissance in Richardson. It is a nice hotel but I was very disappointed with the meal served at the last event I attended there. They need to up their game in that department. The meal was not only not warm but the beef was quite tough. Nevertheless, it is a nice hotel and I'm glad we have it in the city.
