Mike and I stayed for a few days prior to Thanksgiving. Very clean, courteous workers/owners., Really enjoyed the night lights and care taken if grounds

I highly recommend not staying at this property until they hire more professional and efficient property mangers. This property has potential with the beautiful surroundings. We had a back door that did not lock, bathtub did not work, and dirty. There are 6 stray cats which we fed. The property managers are very rude, specifically Country. They have a note stating to do dishes and take trash out which we did. We were charged 50 extra dollars stating we did not clean. She also scolded us with cuss words for feeding the stray cats.
Really unfortunate, we stayed there last year and had a totally different experience.

As you can see from the response, property manager is unfriendly and not accurate. The humane thing to do for the 'cat problem' would be to take them to a shelter so they do not suffer with hunger. We did not officially check in either, rather you left the cabin open with the key on the table. Please note we stayed last year and did not have ANY issues. Again to others reading the reviews, this is not a very well run place. Too bad. I will be sending feedback to the owners

Thank you for your review, unfortunately you are not accurate about all of it. We saw you guys several times over the stay and nothing was mentioned about the bath tub not working, or the dead bugs. Your husband asked for and received a stick for the back door. Food was left all over the counters and stove including a pot. Upon arrival we ask everyone, not to feed the cats as we are trying to weed them out and it attracts the bears that are already visiting the trash cans. Not only did you feed the cats, you left a bucket of cat food on the ground (we picked it up) and a container of milk. We ask that you leave the cabin like you found it. We ask that wet towels/used linens are placed in the shower/tub. None of these things were done as well as paper trash still being in the cabin. Of every cabin that was here over the weekend, your cabin was the only cabin left in that condition and I do have pictures. Please note, as you guys mentioned several times..last year we did this. The park is under new management and rules have changed.

This is more then just a RV park. So much to do. Very family oriented. Something for everyone. Clean and Management is so friendly and fun. Our new place to go camping every time

OVERCROWDED. But, not all bad...
This RV park is in a good location, close to the Mescalero Apache Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino, as well as local Ruidoso hotspots...just be aware of the congestion and and ridiculously small RV spaces in the park (see photos).
We nicknamed the RV park "The Cat Park" or maybe "The Stray Cats" is more appropriate, based on the number of stray feral cats roaming around looking for love, or a handout...
On the upside; the camp employees are very nice, and very helpful. The owner/ manager was ok with us moving to a space we could fit into better. The water pressure in space #50 was awesome, and we had no real issues during our stay.

Thank you for your review. The sites have been widened and were in the process of getting renovated when you chose that spot. You were able to walk around and choose from many available sights. I apologize that you chose one that wasn't widened yet. We hope you come back and see us.

Pretty nice RV park. The location is excellent and centrally located. The surrounding area is beautiful with trees and trails. The amenities provided are nice. The only cons are that the hook ups could use some updating and the public showers and restrictions could use cleaning more often as well as the pond being better taken care of

Thank you for the positive feedback! To address your concerns: we had an unusually high number of guests in the same group of family/friends who gathered near the restrooms. Our guest bathrooms are attended to several times throughout the day, but the high traffic kept us from being able to get in there as consistently as we normally do. As soon as we would open the door to replace supplies and clean, no kidding, someone would go in to use the facilities. As for the pond, we apply algae remover every two weeks as prescribed, and we are working to repair the cracks and rejuvenate the concrete as time permits. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention.
