Add ReviewGrateful for getting my 2007 Dodge Nitro rolling again, without the tow truck. Great job to the service crew and Javier for professional care. This is my first vehicle, felt like having a child in the hospital. Definitely Bartlesville CDJR will be my first pick for my next vehicle.Report
Caleb Peck is an amazing salesman who did his best to advocate for me and I would use him any day if he changed dealerships, but that can’t save this review or my opinion of this dealership. Finance rep was nice, but again she can’t either.Report
TLDR: don’t buy used vehicles from them, when it comes to used they are not in the business of happy customers, only profiting from auction vehicles that they buy up north (check your frames for rust and rust coverups!!!)
Important to note that you are forced to sign an arbitration clause when buying vehicles from them.
Do NOT use this service department, do NOT trust this service department, and do NOT trust the descriptions they have for their vehicles or their reported Carfax maintenance. Sold me a 2017 Silverado 1500 Custom with 95k for 20k, which would be a reasonable price if it weren’t for the truck having not been serviced in over 5k miles despite their reported maintenance and promises of inspections being done. I’m genuinely convinced that before I complained, the only thing they did was delete 2 seperate CEL codes for the fuel pump. I plugged in a scan tool, sure enough they are listed as permanent codes even though the light isn’t on. Sure enough again, the CEL is now on after the fiasco I had with them and then 300 miles. After reading reviews from others that are not clearly bought, customers financing new vehicles, or family/friends of salesmen, I now want to check my cabin air filter because I assume that wasn’t replaced either and the smell would solidify that worry.
I was confident they did not service the truck, so I took it in and respectfully asserted that they should do the service interval that the truck was nearly 5k overdue for. They refused to do anything other than change the oil and top off the coolant, wanted to charge me money to do what they should’ve done in the first place.
Detail took a lot of time paint-penning some bad scratches on the truck, but they definitely didn’t clear coat over them. I know because I took the truck through the IQ touchless car wash and it took off ALL of the cover-ups. This is not a 20k truck, I’ll leave it at that.
So here I am, stuck with this truck I paid 20k for less than 3 weeks ago with a bad fuel pump, scratches EVERYWHERE, 5k overdue for transfer case fluid change on top of other regular maintenance items… I tried to be nice about it and find a middle ground, but I can see now that will not happen. And all I get is getting told it won’t get covered and the service tech that worked on my truck was fired. I don’t care what happened with the service tech, I want to trust that the vehicle I just bought from you is roadworthy!
$3k on a truck that might be worth $17k for a warranty to cover things that would have been done before the truck was listed for sale by any reputable dealership is laughable. Will not be using this dealer under it’s current management and service dept and I will be recommending to the people I care about not to as well.
The service manager here us dedicated to helping his customers. You can be sure he'll make sure you have a good experience.Report
Terrible salespeople with illegal and deceptive advertising practices. Drive the extra mile and go to Kansas City, Tulsa, Joplin, Springfield, NWA, or KC. I believe the Attorney General's Office needs to step in for some enforcement action.Report
Also, I'm prepared for the generic bullshxt response from the owner. LOL
We bought a 2021 Hyundai Venue, Corey was extremely helpful and helped us every step of the way. I’m pretty young and a first time buyer so it was extremely helpful to have someone who knew the business in and out and was willing to explain all the steps prior to signing anything.Report
My experience with Ralph this week was hassle free. He genuinely wanted me to be 100% happy with my vehicle. He did not pressure me, which was nice. He got me in a sweet wrangler that checked all my boxes. I have had a not as pleasant experience elsewhere, which lead me to this dealership!Report
I would recommend this dealership to friends, especially Ralph!
It was a pleasure doing business with Bartlesville Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram. Ask for Corey he's a great guy full of jokes and laughs.Report
I want you to imagine the stereotypicalReport
sleazy salesman. That was my salesman David Lamour. I thought he was doing me a favor by picking me to bring me to the dealership. Nope, it was to hold me hostage until I finally said yes. They didn't tell me it was going to be extra for leather, then I get there and it's 4k extra. He somehow smooth talked me into it, even after I asked to be taken back home, several, several times.
He told me it'd be high quality, not cat skins. (thats exactly what they put in)That they'd pick it up the following Monday. Monday came and I left the keys for them. I called he told me it'd be Tuesday, he'd call me. Come to find out it was his day off. The next day he said everything goes through the service manager and everything goes through Chuck. That tells me he only said what he said just to make a sale.
side note. Chuck is a good guy, service gets 4 stars, and I'll tell you why in a bit.
The next day came and he said He'd call me by noon on Monday. He didn't, and then got irate with me when I reached out, saying " I can't control the mail".
3 weeks later almost a month I get my car back and the shift boot is popping off. The stitching is loose. The knee bolster came off, and the stitching on the steering wheel doesn't match. Here's why service didn't get 5 from me. I was told a steering wheel cover was ordered, nope it's the old leather with mismatched stitching. It has some ugly maroon stitching that matches poorly with the bright red stitching.
They added the leather to the msrp which makes the tag more. I'm not even sure if that's legal.
Tried to add an extended warranty without telling me.
I actually tried to give it back the following day and the salesman manager basically said "stop crying you signed the paperwork".
In fact he's not very friendly or personable either.
The car didn't even go through service for an oil change. It came straight from auction to the lot. They didn't tell me it was imported from Canada either, which is supposed to be disclosed at the time of sale. I wish I would of known because it's rusty underneath.
Do not buy a car here, these people only care about making a quick buck, and if you have a concern, there going to blow you off. This has got to be the worst customer service experience, I've ever had.
I will take some responsibility here, I did sign for it. I regret it. So much so it's hard to even enjoy the car.
Service, from what I've seen is pretty good. They were actually kind and professional. Chuck actually communicates and make his customers happy.
This has been the worst experience I have had buying a used vehicle. I believe it came in from an auction, but salesman assured me it would be gone over and repairs made. There was a printed out list of repairs made. The only thing I could actually tell was the broken windshield was replaced. I noticed the tires were not in good shape and he would have them checked which of course they said they were fine. I took my truck in for an oil change 4 months later and inspection. Also, at that time, the service guy told me that I needed new tires. I had put less than 4000 miles on the truck so obviously the tires were not in good shape. Within the next week my truck a/c was putting out a horrible smell. So I went back and asked a service person and he asked if I had changed air filter and cabin filter. I had told him that they changed it less than four months ago and I had just had an oil change the week before and they said nothing about any filters needing changed. so I went home and I pulled out the air filter and the cabin filter and they were extremely dirty. There was no way they were changed when I bought the vehicle and if they would’ve done the inspection, they would’ve noticed that as well. There were multiple issues that said w we’re fixed but we but don’t believe they were really done. They had me bring it back in. They did put tires on it. They tell me the evaporators out of the air conditioner and then it’s gonna cost $2500 to fix the air conditioner and my warranty doesn’t cover that, so they said they would look at my list of concerns, but they couldn’t fix the air conditioner because it wasn’t under warranty. I would steer clear of this place because they do not do the service they say they do and will not back what they sell. If there was a zero star rating, that’s what I would give them. Pretty pathetic.Report
The Service department has really stepped it up. Javier and Dave do an amazing job.Report
