The folks at Priority Marine did a great job with our dock and boatlift. The workmanship was top notch, and we couldn't be happier. Additionally, they were nice professional people, and were very easy to work with, which was very refreshing.ReportRe: The folks at Priority Mar ... UNFULFILLED PROMISES, ZERO SERVICE AND NO RESPONSES AFTER INSTALL AND MONEY PAID!Report
You will quickly find out that Priority is a one man show. His name is Jason and he is the "Salesman". Jason is your only contact. The problem arises after payment. Specifically, the Salesman, Jason, is still your only contact for follow up, service or the like. I can only assume he does not get paid for that, as he has zero interest in you at that point. In my case, they installed my lift last year during Covid and I made it clear that I was still trying to purchase a boat that might be a year out. Jason assured me on several occasions that it wouldn't be a problem, as they would simply come back and fit the lift for the boat when it became available. That was prior to payment. Post payment I clearly do not exist. My only recourse was to contact the lift maker, Hi-Tide Lifts, and have them assist me with the problems and adjustments as Jason and Priority Marine Construction would give a "lip service" response, if any. They specialize in ignore and waiting for you to tire of calling. There is no "service person" and the office only refers you back to Jason, the completely unavailable Salesman for post install issues. There is supposedly an owner, Bill, but he must be behind the curtain as you will never hear from him. I have waited two months from my first request for services to write this review. I have engaged in multiple phone calls, texts, and emails, all to no avail. I have bought and personally installed repair parts and stabilizers as Priority has ignored all of my pleas, even when I have offered to pay them for services that were included in my contract and previously paid for. Most recently I have had to get the name of another Hi Tide Vendor due to the complete inaction on the part of Priority.
In summary, if you are lucky enough to have the lift work flawlessly at install, you may never experience my horrible experience. But if not, you will hate the day you got involved with Priority. I doubt they were like this in the past as they would no longer be in business. But clearly something has changed, which in my case is a nightmare with a $400,000 boat and $23,000 lift getting beat up unnecessarily. I hope they straighten out, but I wouldn't count on it. More importantly, I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole at this point.Re: UNFULFILLED PROMISES, ZER ... They constructed a new dock for us after our old dock was destroyed by the last unnamed storm. All materials used were first class including all stainless bolts and screws and marine grade lumber and pilings. The two men who performed the work (Mike and Chris) were professional and caring and built us a first class dock. We highly recommend them.ReportRe: They constructed a new do ...
