Blew the date to deliver POD without even calling me. Used them before but this time they had driver problems and did not even notify me. I have completely blown my move schedule for help, etc. I am furious!!! Chattanooga PODS BLEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used Pods in Chattanooga to move from one apartment to the next and store for one month and 12 days before my next apartment was going to be ready. The part I wasn’t told is that their ridiculous storage cost ($250+ per month) doesn’t prorate. So I paid over $500 to have my things only stored for 42 days! This doesn’t even include the drop off and pickup fees that they slap you with on both ends. Nothing about the pod was worth the money they charged. I would have been better off with a uhaul truck and storage unit and the extra load/unload that would’ve required. I don’t recommend.

I am a very unhappy PODs customer. My experience is a classic case of over promise and under deliver.
The Sales pitch worked the delivery of the service not good at all. Placement of the POD and pick up and deliver a nightmare. It’s impossible to get somebody on the phone and I almost felt sorry for the driver who called me and told me that he’s overworked and the company is understaffed therefore he was always late.

WARNING!! DO NOT USE PODS. Not on time. Not responsive. Not Professional. I was scheduled to have POD dropped off. They gave me a three hour window but never showed up (and still haven’t shown up for that matter). When I called (3 times) I kept getting hung up on. Twice as soon as they picked up. Then The third time, the associate put me on hold for 10 minutes and then just hung up. Still no resolution but they definitely took the money out of my account on time. I would highly recommend using another service. Looks like I’ve possibly been scammed.

My daughter rented a pod for us after a tornado destroyed my home. They called for it to be picked up a few days before 30 days was up. They said they couldn’t come get it until next month. And guess what!! They are charging for another month! Bad way of doing business! Especially for people that have been through enough. This will also be posted on social media.
