Great Bjj facilities and instructors Great facility. Jace and Dane are awesome instructors that bring great enthusiasm and passion for bjj to the mat. The understanding, knowledge and patience they display makes you want to work hard to achieve your own personal goals. My family started with the school about 6 weeks ago. My 8&11 year old love going to BJJ every week. Jace is a great teacher, he has that natural knack for relating to kids. I'm also a student (in the adult class); the system Jace and Dane have in place make the game of BJJ more easily understood. I'm glad we found PDBJJ!

My 8-year-old son absolutely loves Jace and is so committed to learning jiu-jitsu because of his passion for the sport. We had a hard time finding sports that my son enjoyed. After trying a lot of different things, it's great to see him so excited about this!

My son has been under Jace's teaching for 4+ years. Jace is a black belt in BJJ; high level, very knowledgeable. Jace is the best with teaching young students fundamental and advanced Jiu-Jitsu skills. From those skills and additionally, students learn focus, self defense, team work, control, patience, and most importantly have fun!

I have personally trained Jiu Jitsu for a year now as well as spent time observing the classes at Phoenix Down. I can't think of a more perfect activity to build confidence, learn self defense, make high quality friends, and get great exercise! Jace is incredibly dedicated and passionate about what he does. Our son just started BJJ at Phoenix Down this summer and it has been an awesome experience! It is so much more than grappling and self defense. Coach Jace teaches great mind and self control as well as self discipline which benefits every kid. Our son has loved it and we hope this is something he wants to continue to do!
