We used attorney Sara Cohen for a post divorce (14 years after) custody case. It was probably one of the most difficult, non-stop, over the top cases she has seen and Sara dove right in and accepted the challenge. She did a wonderful job keeping my reputation alive during this case while my name and even my child's name was falsely trying to be dragged through the mud over and over again in the public eye and courts eyes. Sara fought ruthlessly for my child's best interest and my peace of mind through this whole thing. Her and her firms dedication to their cases is one of the best you will find and do an amazing job getting the job for you. What a nightmare. The short story, I was overcharged/double charged, charged for them fixing the mistakes they made in my docs. They told me my case was straight forward and gave me a ballpark number. That number was hit at what I was told was almost the halfway point of my divorce, then I was told well it could be more like 3 or 4 times that original quote. They then parted ways with the lawyer they assigned to me and finally acknowledged there was issues with billing that they would look into and get back to me, BUT ONLY if I agreed to the new lawyer they were assigning to me. Divorce is tough enough, they will kick you while you're down. Seek help elsewhere.
