Our family owned and operated business has been part of the Phoenix automotive scene since the opening of Ed Smith's Speed Shop in 1968. As the shop grew, it expanded into the field of automotive exhaust with the opening of Muffler Masters in 1996. Headed by Mark Smith, the shop quickly expanded to become one of the foremost exhaust shops in Glendale. In 2003, James Smith opened Pro Muffler in Peoria in order to handle the overwhelming demand for quality custom exhaust systems. After apprenticing at both Muffler Masters and Pro Muffler for 8 years, Russell Smith opened Performance Muffler in 2007, where he is currently the owner and manager of the shop.
