Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee used .They were honest & didn't tack on hidden fees to the price. They also worked hard to get me a loan to purchase the car. Of which I'm Great full.

I purchased a 2021 Jeep Cherokee at the Jeep dealership in Peotone, IL on 9/20. The salesman, Blayne Grassle, informed me that I could get a rebate for purchasing another Jeep. I have a 2018 Jeep Compass which my 18 year old son uses for school. Blayne said they would need the registration of the 2018 Jeep to get me the rebate so, I had my son drive over to give Blayne the registration. After he made a copy of the registration, Blayne gave it back to me and my son left. I told Blayne that I didn't need new plates because I was transferring my plates from my 2015 Suburban that I sold in July 2021 to my new car. I later discovered and confirmed by the DMV that Blayne transferred the plates on my 2018 Jeep to my new Jeep and so, the 2018 Jeep had no plates! My son therefore has been driving that car back and forth to school for 2 months with no legit plates! Needless to say, I was not happy so on 11/29/2021, I called him and he said he was going to talk to his manager and call me right back. I never heard from him so, I called him back today. He said that I gave him the registration for the 2018 Jeep so he assumed in error that the plates were coming off that car. Now mind you, I told Blayne that my son drives the 2018 Jeep so I don't know why he would think I would take the plates off that car! I reminded him that I gave him the registration for the 2018 Jeep only to get the rebate! Blayne said that it makes sense so he said he would talk to his manager again. He called me back and said there was nothing he could do because I gave him the registration for the 2018 Jeep! Why wouldn't he ask me for the registration for the 2015 Suburban?? I had to take time off work today to go to the DMV (4 hours!!!) to fix the dealership's mistake and pay $50 for their error!! VERY POOR customer service! I will take my future car business elsewhere!!!

Linda, We are sorry that you feel this way. When looking back to September when you purchased the vehicle and going through your deal, we see nothing in the deal other than the registration card that you gave us. Which is the vehicle we transferred the plates from when you were here. We would have willingly transferred the plates from a different vehicle if we would have known that was what you wanted. You did not have a registration card or plates to any other vehicle here with you that day. So, we are having a hard time understanding how we could have done this better for you. There is nothing that we can do since it has been over 2 months since you purchased the Jeep. If you would have caught it within a week or so then we could have voided the plate transfer and then transferred the right plates for you at no cost but we did not know. We are very sorry that this plate issue has made you this upset that all the good we did for you just gets thrown out the window.

Sharon was great. She got me a rental fast. She was professional and sympathetic. Wasn't happy about my car breaking down 3 times since I haven't owned a year. Even if it is a used car.

Jameson Jurek. Thank you for your review about our dealerships Inventory situation. You may not know this but in the United States right now there is a shortage of lots of things. One of those shortages is Micro Chips that are needed to build vehicles. Because of this shortage Dealerships around the country are having a hard time getting inventory. Without inventory we can not keep businesses running at full volume as we could before which hurts everyone and our Employees and they're families. We are sorry if not having as much Inventory in stock during this Pandemic inconvenienced you. Hopefully soon this will get better and every dealership and Customer in America can start to Sell and Buy vehicles as they choose to.
