In 1991, Peachtree Transcription Associates was a daydream thought up in the break room at Piedmont hospital on Peachtree Street in Atlanta. Working as a transcriptionist, Martha Russell had the foresight and vision to see that high quality transcription with quick turnaround times was an underserved niche in the healthcare industry. Having never ran a company before, Martha brought on board the most skilled businessman with a proven track record for success that she trusted, Bruce Russell. Together, under Bruce's excellent leadership skills and Martha's industry experience, Peachtree Transcription Associates grew into the multi-million dollar business. Twenty five years later, Peachtree Transcription has grown into $52 million transcription company that continues to provide the finest medical transcription service for: Hospitals (including the number one hospital in Georgia), Cancer Centers and Clinics. Although the technology has changed, our motto has remained the same “You must inspect what you expect,” along with our mission “To help Not judge.” Following these principals has allowed us to control the costs while simplifying and enhancing the patient documentation process.
