Add ReviewI just got out today. The staff was great. They worked with me and helped me every step of the way. My favorite staff member was ms Nicki. She was very nice. And the psychiatrist did not sugar coat anything. I'm glad I got the help I needed. It was boring but I dl rather be bored than dead. Thank you ??ReportRe: I just got out today. The ... Child was to have a counseling session, signed in for the zoom mtg 10 mins before mtg, waited 45 mins (more patient than I would have been), and the counselor never showed up. Just as I thought, they marked her as not attending and I needed to call in. You can only respond via the appointment line, which every time I called had over an hour wait. I work and do NOT have that time to sit and wait when this was their fault. I emailed her counselor as well and no response yet. I looked at the zoom mtg info again and it was sent as a 1 am not 1 pm appt. I am not impressed they do not have any other way to contact staff and even when I did get a hold of someone, they said you have to speak to the appt line...nope. I will continue to try but it is ridiculous about the wait times and inconsistent communication from this clinic as well as the inability to talk to anyone unless you have an hour or more to be on hold.ReportRe: Child was to have a couns ... Counselors do not care about their patients, it took months to be "seen" and the counselor cancelled 2 appointments the day before. Do not recommend this place, it's sad because the people that need their services are really in need.ReportRe: Counselors do not care ab ... I have been using the peace river crisis hotline for years, but since the pandemic started I've been in crisis more times than I can count. Thus leading me to calling the crisis hotline to get aid in managing a panic attack or crisis situation, in between my therapy appointmentsReport
Apparently ALOT of other people are in need of help as well, because every time I try to call the crisis hotline at night on weekends and weekdays, since the pandemic started, the line just rings and rings. It's nearly impossible to reach someone. When u eventually do reach someone, they hurry off the phone to answer another call, often at times before your crisis situation is improved.
Can you hire more staff please?! Surely enough people are needing mental health help right now to justify the cost of a extra person or 2 answering the crisis hotline calls.Re: I have been using the pea ... I went here before and the bathrooms are nice but they barely give you enough attention. The physiatrist, I don't remember her name well but she tried embarrass me. I heard the staff talk about the patients and laugh at them. They would let us go outside for free time and so forth but most of the time we would be inside and we would just watch tv. Barely would talk to counselors or anything throughout the day. It didn't even really help me. When I first got there they didn't even give me a proper covering to put over my body. They gave me a throw away blanket and I had no pillow. I would beg to have a pillow to sleep on because the beds are hard but no one really listened to me. I was there for 2 1/2 days and I wish I never went there. The physiatrist that I seen is disgusting and rude to the patients. I don't really recommend going here?????ReportRe: I went here before and th ...
