Mr Patel was an amazing lawyer I was facing a class X 2 counts of class 2. Count of class 3 and one count of class four and a misdemeanor and he never stopped fight he kept at it and add it and he got me down to a class one and a class two with 2 1/2 years probation. Patel has a compassion for his clients & offers the upmost services. He took 3 felonies with one a mandatory prison sentence all the way down to probation with no jail time. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to be taken seriously & treated fair.Report

Our founding attorney, Baku Patel, has been practicing law for nearly 30 years and has extensive experience in personal injury and criminal defense. He began his legal career in the United States Navy as an officer in the Navy Judge Advocate General Corps, where he served as both a JAG Corps prosecutor and defense attorney. Mr. Patel then served stints as a criminal prosecutor for the United States and Illinois governments, first as a federal prosecutor and trial attorney with the Federal Trade Commission and then as a senior prosecutor in the State’s Attorney’s office in both Champaign and Vermillion counties. Turning to criminal defense, Mr. Patel served as the Chief Public Defender of Vermilion County, where he was certified by the state as lead defense counsel in death penalty cases. He is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, American Association For Justice The Association For Trial Lawyers and National Association Of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
