Add ReviewThis is a cautionary tale for potential Pape Subaru service customers. I recently took my Outback in to have the display unit checked and the software updated. As part of the service they do a courtesy vehicle inspection. My inspection, according to Pape, revealed, “Front lower control arm bushings are torn” which they would fix for $810. Because Pape service is expensive, I took the car to my regular mechanic and asked them to check it out and replace the bushings. They got back to me and said that all the bushings were fine, no tears. So, was it an incompetent Pape mechanic or something else? I don’t know but potential customers should exercise due diligence on any repairs suggested by Pape’s courtesy inspection.Report
I should note that my other service interactions with Pape have all been good.
While I went with another automaker, the folks at Pape were top notch! All my questions were answered very honestly and there was absolutely no pressure to buy a car from them. If you’re in the market for a Subaru, this is the place to go!Report

What can I say? To me, they are one of the best dealerships I have ever visited. My family and I were searching for the best deal we could find. Our local dealership in Manassas was way too expensive, offered no warranties worth mentioning, and, even worse, lacked good customer service. After some research, I came across this dealership.Report
Danielle was my representative, and she was purely delightful. She explained everything thoroughly, arranged for my pickup from the airport, walked me through all the vehicle's functions, and ensured a smooth transition into my new car. The finance team was excellent as well. Travis took the time to answer all my emails in great detail, Vinny gave advice as if I were his own kid, and Bob shared some of the best insights regarding warranties.
In short, I took a plane ride from DC to Boston, rented a car to drive two hours, picked up the car, enjoyed some time in Portland, and drove home in 11 hours. Yes, the drive was challenging, but for the warranty, service, and exceptional customer care, I would do it all over again. When my family and I need a car, we go to Pape! 😊
We had such a great experience with the team at Pape Subaru! KC was extremely knowledgeable, personable and transparent. We did not experience the typically pushy sales pitch and gimmicks - quite the opposite. At every step of the process, they made us feel like they genuinely cared about our business. The VP and manager both came over to introduce themselves, they structured the test drive so that we could try out many different features of the car, and so many more things.
