Instead of making commercials about how much they give to charity maybe they should pass on some of that money and discounts on their product to consumers

I was upfront with the sales person. I went there with my son who has poor credit and I was expecting to be a co-signer. Sales person was nice and professional and at first everything went smooth until it was time to go see Steve the finance manager. We waited a very long time to see him ( car dealer was pretty empty) When we finally went into the financing office I Pointed out to him that I did not want the extended warranty. He replied that if I did not get the warranty I would be given a higher interest rate. I don't see how the extended warranty affects my interest rate since that should be based on my credit score. He was rude and condescending. Made too many comments to list them. Anyways I agreed because I was just so tired by then. Once we started filling out the paper work I reminded him that I only wanted to be a co-signer. I did not want my name to be on the title I wanted it only on the loan. He told me that I could not be a co-signer and not be on the title. When I tried explaining to him that from my understanding a co-signer is not on the title only on the loan he again started with his condescending tone saying how he had done this work for 15 years and he never had anyone with my concerns. His tone and mannerism made me really uncomfortable to the point where I asked him to please give me some time to think about what he was saying. The sales person even came into the office and offered to call the manager but then stated that the manager did not answer. Again Steve assured me that I was the co-signer and my name had to be on the title. Too bad I felt rushed because my son needed the car ASAP to attend a sporting event he was participating in. I signed and now after some research I understand that they clearly made me a co-borrower not a co-signer. If I had to do it over again I would go in with my own loan from my personal bank and avoid all the unnecessary stress. Sales people make you feel welcome and are very professional but their finance guy Steve makes you feel like your in a shady dealer and as if their making you a favor.

Everything was great except a new scratch on the car. No way to prove it wasn't there before service. Check your car over before having work done, like it was a rental and you'll be charged.

We were looking for a new Subaru forester and the only one available was at Palm Springs Subaru. It's a long drive but it was worth it.
Walter, our salesman, was low key and very helpful during and after we were home.
When we got there an Outback caught our attention, especially the power seats, heated and ventilated, were as comfortable as our Cadillac.
There was not a high pressure closer, instead the financial guy was also low key and had excellent financial advice
We recieved much more for our trade in than I expected.
A positive experience all around! ?
