Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Homes & Crematory

My sons service was in July 2021, Vern was amazing with us, the service was very nice. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars and not 5 is because its been 6 months since we ordered the stone and it still hasn't arrived. I get there are back ups but we have been twice to ask about it. And they say its coming and still nothing. It shouldn't have taken this long, I don't understand how others who where buried after my son already have their stones and he still doesn't. It's extremely upsetting...
Edit: I changed it to five stars because they made it right, a previous employee messed up but they have made it right and my babies marker finally arrived! Thank you for providing flowers, and for the response!

Hello Mrs. Gonzalez. Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you were happy with Vern and felt the services were very nice. I am sorry for the delay with your sons marker. I assure you we take complaints very seriously and I immediately began investigating. It appears the proof was not provided to you all by one of advisors who is no longer with the company. When this was discovered, we promptly had Mr. Gonzalez approve the proof on October 19th while he was at the funeral home inquiring on the status of the marker. We immediately placed the order and put a rush on the order. The marker has been received and installed as December 10th. I truly apologize for the delay. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do. Thank you.

We were very pleased with Osceola Memory Gardens. They were very compassionate and took their time to make sure all of our needs were met. Vern and Joe were very caring and made us feel like we chose the right home for our son Leon. During the funeral Vern was very supportive and accommodating. Thank you all so much

I had a great experience here everyone was very friendly and helpful during my rough time losing my mother, Tom Dorsey was very helpful and Roxanne was very friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend this funeral home they are the best..

My experience with Osceola Gardens was very positive. Tom Dorsey was the gentleman that I dealt with. He made a very difficult situation so much easier. He came through as a very caring person he answered all my questions and he followed through with every detail. I have not one complaint everything that we requested was addressed such as a video, playlist,and a zoom service. They provided coffee for our guest in the back room. The package that I chose to me was very reasonable priced and most important everything that was promised was delivered. I will recommend Osceola Gardens in Kissimmee to anyone who is need of this service. Once again thank you for making this very difficult time for my family so much smoother.

Think twice before using the services of Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home. My family and I had the most horrendous experience. Nobody in this situation should have to go through what we went through in addition to suffering a loss.  It began from the beginning I called an hour before our appointment to inform Stephanie that we were going to be a little late. We arrived 30 minutes late and she appeared,  and did not greet us. We did not enter the funeral home at the same time and I asked her to wait a minute. She rudely said we have to wait for them now. I immediately told her they were coming in now. We entered her office, and she only had 4 chairs,  and I had specifically told her we would be 6. I asked for 2 extra chairs she said she didn't have any and didn't attempt to try. A gentleman passed by, and saw we needed chairs and brought us the missing chairs. Her rudeness continued to the point that my sister had to pull her aside and speak to her. Unfortunately our bad experience didn't end there. We then met Bonnie, also no greeting. She proceeds to try to sell us a plot for about 30 minutes, we are going through this because she just wants to sell us something,  at which point I asked if we could see the plot. She hesitantly agreed and took us to the plot. When we arrive there it already had a headstone. Bonnie gave us some incomprehensible  reason that they had moved something. I asked if she had other plots, she said yes but she couldn't show it to us because she didn't have some book. I asked her if she could go get it, and again she left abruptly. She comes back without the book because she said they had locked her out. As if that wasn't bad enough, one of my family members wrote a review and the response he received was what appeared to be a standard letter, and it had the wrong date of the incident. This happened on June 1st not May 9th. I urge you again to think about it before using Osceola Memory Gardens.

We take complaints seriously and have discussed this with the people referenced in your review. We have reminded them, and all of our team, of the importance to be polite, courteous, caring and compassionate during such difficult times with the families we are privileged to serve. Those qualities as well as having accurate information need to be implemented at all times. I understand there were several appointments that were cancelled, rescheduled and pushed back which is fine, however, being the day after Memorial Day weekend, we were very busy and all of the offices were occupied. The Manager was able to pull a few chairs that were not available at the time Stephanie looked prior to the original time of the appointment. He had just finish a meeting and was able to bring them from his office... We always introduce families to one of our Family Service Advisors to help with Cemetery. In this case you met with Bonnie who has been with us for decades. Sorry she did not have all the necessary information and was not able to help more. She is generally very good at helping so not sure what happened in this case. We have spoken to her regarding your complaint and she has a different recollection but that doesn't matter at this point. When and where did your family member write a review? I am the one who generally responds. We don't have a standard letter.... Our Mother passed in April 2021 and the gentle care, respect and dignity we were shown, provided us with great peace and comfort.

I am beyond grateful for this location and staff. I buried my baby girl here in 2017 and then yesterday we buried my dad. Our experience here as been exceptional! Ludmila helped with everything for my dad and she made the preparation easy for my mom and the family. The funeral was absolutely beautiful and the room was comfortable and pleasant. The staff was beyond helpful and considerate during the time. Taking my dad to the burial site was the most beautiful as we got to walk behind and it reminded us of Puerto Rico. We appreciate everything and highly recommend this location for any loved one.
