OCC Apparel

Been doing business with OCC for three years now and have purchased several thousand units from them. Product and finishing is of a very high quality. They have shown that they are invested in the successful delivery of their product and service and they have been honest with me about their capabilities whenever we set specific parameters for a proposed order.

OCC apparel has been the most frustrating company to deal with. As multiple now ex-clients to OCC have already said the companies communication skills are appalling to say the least. Nick was helpful and very quick to take my money although shortly after money was cleared as specified on there order forms "10 day turn around post mock up approval" has not been achieved. I have not once had a call answered via the warehouse or main call centre. Dave after being CC'd into an email finally got in contact and discovered half of my order ready at the roller door to the garage. Still waiting on the rest of my order and have heard nothing from Dave who assured delivery of the rest of the order in a couple of days via courier. Lost customer

Hi Jack - Thanks for updating and removing the illegal personal defamation in your previous post. Hi everyone. We were definitely late in the delivery of printed AS Colour garments for Jack Martin of the Relentless Apparel Co but we have only been made aware of the issues via this 1 star rating early Saturday morning post on google reviews. This comes two weeks post the launch of this new brand and business. Jack has never come to us personally to discuss his issues. All the products we delivered were of perfect quality - they are for sale and being promoted as perfect quality by Jack here https://www.relentlessapparelco.com/ they are also being promoted on Jacks Instagram account #relentlessapparelcompany Regarding 'communication' . We have 43 emails liaising with Jack to pull his first collection together with him. Our graphics department required 7 days to re work the artwork files supplied by Jack as they were developed on a graphics program we have never come across in the apparel industry. Like we always do and continue to do at OCC Apparel - we persevered - we were in fact relentless in making sure Jacks artwork went to production perfectly and Jack gave us thanks throughout the order process: Jack Martin Jul 7, 2020, 11:05 AM to me Happy days, approve all shirts and hat. After having a number of samples printed to finalise the position of the graphic......I was informed that OCC won't assist anymore because "it's painful" for them; I'm too particular with my designs.

Correct. Unfortunately we can't facilitate your requirements sorry. We definitely facilitate samples (like we have done with you) but post sampling our core expertise is ethical production for established apparel brands, not for profit organisations, universities, corporate business. Over the 17 years since our establishment we have done everything we can to support start ups and new business........"we were a start up too"...we have helped some of the biggest ethical apparel brands in the marketplace you recognize today from scratch........... BUT at some point in an apparel brands 'start up' phase....yours brands phase................ once multiple samples have been produced......a production order must be instigated.

EDIT: After leaving this review Nick from OCC got in contact and he was able to organise the final 2 products to get promptly delivered. While the products were able to be corrected and redelivered, I would still not recommend OCC Apparel for any merchendise orders.

Worst apparel company I've ever dealt with. Consistently missing delivery dates, miss printing and are almost uncontactable by phone or email. Placed simple orders 9 months ago and are still trying to organise the delivery of products.

Hi Damien - it was a super tough job on our side custom manufacturing bespoke items to individual orders that you have taken from your cohort of medical students at the University of Wollongong. Different coloured print and different coloured embroideries across different coloured garments and low volumes unfortunately for any apparel company is going to be hard to perfect. AS Colour being out of stock on some items we agree only caused even more delays to the production timeline. BUT - ultimately we agreed to the job and should have done better. We thank you and Nicola below for the honest feedback though, we have taken it on board and from this experience totally re worked the jobs we take on now which has only made us even better. Thank you.

*EDIT: Soon after writing this review I was contacted by the Director of OCC Apparel. To his credit, he promptly organised the completion & shipment of the merchandise. Its a shame that it took writing this review to get a response and action on an order.

Absolutely terrible company! I've been in contact with OCC apparel for the past 9 months trying to organise a single merchandise order for a university club. They consistently made mistakes and missed deadlines. Terrible customer service and rarely answered phone calls. They would reply to emails weeks late and were essentially uncontactable for weeks on end. They have lost the business of a repeat client & I would discourage anyone from purchasing products from OCC apparel.

Thanks Nicola - hope your studies at the University of Wollongong as part of the medical students cohort are going well. Thanks for upgrading us from 1 star to 2 stars on this google review. I have added some feedback to Damien's post below, your colleague also at the University of Wollongong who was organizing these shirts with you. Your feedback has been taken on board and OCC Apparel now never takes on bespoke / made to individual order jobs like this. Thank you.

I'm pretty surprised to read the negative reviews about OCC. I dealt with them maybe 2 years ago, I purchased 150 printed t-shirts, and everything went pretty smoothly. It was all done via email though, don't believe I actually spoke to anyone there. I was also very happy with the garments and the printing. When I went to pick them up they were all packaged and ready to go, they seemed pretty cool and friendly and switched on. I'll probably be getting stuff from them again in the future so we'll see how that goes.

What absolute joke! No consideration to keeping in with agreements or giving courtesy of their clients. They constantly make mistakes and do not take any responsibility or apologize. I did a simple t shirt run and 3 mistakes were made with production alone! And i not get apology or even a suggestion to try make things right. The quality of tshirt only good because they buy from other suppliers. You can find suppliers on their website. You better off buying direct from supplier and then going somewhere else to production. Do not use these people they are rude and discourteous. Many people i know have same problem with them.
