So glad I found OC Weight Loss! The staff has been phenomenal and the process couldn’t have been easier. They took their time to explain and go over each step and how to maximize my weight loss for my body. I have seen such a difference with a loss of over 25 pounds in just 8 weeks!!!!!

NP Lindsay Short and OC weight loss center has changed my life! After a life changing adverse reaction to a copper IUD I ended up with estrogen dominance and my testosterone levels tanked causing me to gain 40 pounds in a very short amount of time without the ability to take it off. I had no energy, was depressed and had no motivation. It didn’t matter what I did to change my eating habits or work out, I could not lose any weight or find my groove again. I searched for doctors left and right, someone who would listen to me, and no one believed what I had been going through. They blamed it on my age, and that my low testosterone levels were normal for my age. I lost the three years of my life searching for an answer feeling miserable. Guess what?! Normal isn’t optional! Like many women, I enjoyed many years of being able to eat whatever I wanted, with little to no effect on my waist line. I also had the energy and time to regularly go to the gym. I feel like that all changed around the time I entered my 30s. In early June of this year, I was heavier than I’d ever been and couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to shove myself into leggings and a sports bra to go to the gym just to feel completely insecure and out of place…

After hearing a lot of good things about the power of the new weight loss medications on the market, I decided to try them for myself. A quick google search led me to OC Weight Loss Center in Mission Viejo, a clinic with excellent reviews. My appointment was with Lindsay, a Nurse Practitioner on their staff. She was so kind and knowledgeable, and educated me on the different medications available and the pros and cons of each. After determining the best fit for me, I purchased 3 months worth of medication and immediately got started on the regiment. I returned today for my follow up appointment and couldn’t wait to share my progress with Lindsay! In early June, I weighed in at 164.4. Today the scale read 138.8!! I’ve attached a screenshot from the app that connects to our scale at home for proof. It takes a monthly average of all weigh ins during a given month, so my starting weight isn’t accurately represented- but I confirmed today that I was at 164.4 before starting the medication.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my entire experience with the staff at OC Weight Loss Center, and I’ve been completely blown away by the results of the medication. I can’t go anywhere without someone commenting on my transformation and I’m more than happy to refer them to the care of this great team. Do yourself and favor and make an appointment today. I’m even going back to the gym on a regular basis now! I have more energy than I’ve had in years and no longer feel self conscious of my appearance. Literally, the best decision I’ve ever made.

Dr. Short and the staff at OC weight loss are wonderful. Everyone is very kind, making me so comfortable as a patient. Dr. Short is very knowledgable about medical weight loss and has answered all my questions along the way during my weight loss journey. I have never felt pushed into buying a product or felt like I was given a “sales pitch”. Dr. Short listened to all my concerns and my goals and suggested the appropriate medication that would be best suited for me and has been available every step of the way. I’ve lost 20 pounds since in the last 4 months, and I’m very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend this clinic!

I worked with Maira and have had a fantastic experience. She was not pushy at all, and just educated me on what they could offer. I have seen great results. (Lost 20 pounds in 8 weeks) While there medication definitely helps you also have to be disciplined to get the best results.

I highly recommend OC Weight Loss Center. Dr. Kakar explained the available programs and I chose the Lipotropic Injections to assist with a weight loss plateau. The injections have been helpful in increasing my energy, mood and loosing the stubborn pounds.
