About OC Foot and Ankle Associates

Dr. Anjala Kanda is currently in practice in Tustin, CA. She was raised in Southern California and completed her undergraduate college at Cal State University, Long Beach where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry. She completed four years of medical school at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she graduated Cum Laude at the top of her class. She was a recipient of various educational awards and scholarships. Subsequently, she completed a surgical residency at Lakewood Regional Medical and Los Alamitos Medical Center where she underwent extensive training in biomechanics, sports medicine, diabetic wound management, pediatrics and foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Kanda is currently an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is an attending physician and clinical instructor for the Lakewood Regional Medical Center Residency program and the Irvine Multi-Specialty Sports Medicine Fellowship program using her skill and knowledge to train future practitioners. In addition, she is on staff at Tustin Medical Center, Western Medical Center, Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Tri-City Regional Medical Center, La Veta Surgical Center and Irvine MultiSpecialty Center. She is also actively involved in and enjoys volunteering with the annual Special Olympics, Avon Breast Cancer Walk, and more.
