North Bay Speech is a pediatric speech, language and orofacial myofunctional therapy practice serving clients age 18 months-18 years of age. Services are provided in the comfort of the client's home and/or private school setting. Jill Cochrane, MA, CCC-SLP is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Certification Track Candidate in Orofacial Myology. Jill brings her eighteen years of experience working with children with motor planning disorders, articulation disorders, oral phase dysphagia, and language disorders to North Bay Speech. Jill has specialized training working with children on the autistic spectrum in both private and public schools. She is a Hanen certified instructor training parents of young children with language delays increase communication in the home setting. She is experienced working with Childhood Apraxia of Speech with training in PROMPT Level 1 and Level 2, the Kaufman method, and Dynamic and Temporal Cueing. Jill's new area of specialization includes working with children with orofacial myofunctional disorders, including tongue thrust, open mouth postures, mouth breathing, tongue-tie, and noxious oral habits (thumb sucking, finger sucking, etc).
