I purchased a portable washing machine which we began using April 1st 2023 that began leaking from the internal drain hose seven weeks after purchase. We could see the crack in the very cheap plastic hose. Got taken through various channels from the purchaser as it was under what we all consider a sham warranty at this point. May 26th after sending multiple communications as to when this would be taken care of and pictures of washing machine information, the manufacturer finally sent me two companies I was allowed to contact for repairs. Nortech was one of them and the one I called. I called Nortech on May 27th. They followed up requesting information on the washing machine and I sent it. May 30th Nortech sent an email confirming the information was received and then requested pictures so I sent that. June 7th, I sent a follow up email as I still had not heard back from Nortech for repair. I also included my work schedule so I would be available for repair service. After still hearing nothing I called them back on June 14th. They told me they would be at my residence the next day after 12:00 pm when I would be home from work. June 15th they never called and never showed up! Because my time isn't important and they don't care how they treat customers. June 16, 2023, I called Nortech Friday morning. They told me they would be there that day. They did not show up! Called at 1:25 and they told me they were coming. Called again at 5:00 pm. They hung up. I called back and they said they were still coming. Called at 7:30 and no answer. Because my time isn't important and they don't care how they treat customers. June 17th I called at 10:45 am and let them know I was angry at arranging my schedule twice and they didn't call nor show up for repairs. His response was to threaten me to not fix the washing machine. June 19th 2023 Monday. Received a call at 10:17 am Nortech technician was on his way and would be there soon! That was the notice I was given without any regard to my schedule of doing anything that day because apparently they thought my world revolved around them. I had to hurry to be there for repairs. That's why in a legitimate company you call, an appointment is made and an appointment is kept.Yep! Tech arrived, showed him the crack in the drain hose. He then ran the washing machine and low and behold it leaked all over the kitchen floor. Communication was very, very difficult. He was polite. He taped the broken hose for a temporary repair. He told me he would order a new hose and he left never to be seen again. As time passed we began making jokes about how long it would be until the company called us to come out and replace the part. August 28, 2023, Monday. It has been 70 days since the Nortech technician told me he would order the replacement hose for our leaking washing machine. I called Nortech and explained why I was calling. After being put on hold a couple of times I was then told the washing machine company had canceled Nortech's order for the part. I'm confused since it's been 70 days since I've heard from Nortech and I had to call them to find out what was going on. He then rambled on about reordering the part. Put me on hold for the third time, came back and told me the company no longer sold the part to a washing machine we bought in March! If this is the kind of service you want for repairs, call Nortech. As for me, I have told everyone I know, about our experience with Nortech.

I like the people there The gentleman I talk to was a big help, he told me it probably wasn't what I thought it was with my TV and he was right.. save me money. So yes I think this is a good shop I would recommend it

One of our commercial fridges stopped cooling in the middle of service on a Sunday. Nortech came out at short notice, fixed it, serviced the other ones too. Top notch work.

I called this company today to get help with TV repair and was informed they don't do TV repair. Change your name or something but don't waste everyone's time.

The tech from Nortech was personable, honest and respectful. He fixed the issue and explained everything to me before he did anything. He made this experience less stressful and you can really tell he enjoys what he does. Thank you for being honest and having integrity.

My mini wine/beverage fridge was out of freon which required R600A plus a port needed to be tapped. I literally called over all South Seattle area, no one would want to work on it except these guys. It was a bit pricey but still cheaper than buying a new fridge. The service was great, the tech was super friendly. I would highly recommend these guys.

My Blue Star oven stopped lighting. We have had it since 2010 and the igniter has gone out every 3-5 years. Tried the other company I used in the past but they were booked 6 wks out. They had always charged around $200-300 to fix it. Looked up the Blue Star authorized repair companies in the area and got Nortech since they were closest. Person taking my call could barely speak English. I had to phonetically spell my details and she still couldn’t get it right. She said they would come the next day. Arrival window was 8am to 5pm - thanks… Nice guy shows at 2pm and says he’s here to fix my furnace which isn’t broken. Chalk that up to the person answering the phone. He comes in, listens to the problem and my past issues. He doesn’t take the oven apart to check that I know what I’m talking about and after 10 minutes says “yep, likely the igniter. I don’t have the part, will return in 3 wks roughly and I need a check for $150 for diagnosis.” He leaves and 2 days later I get an invoice for $719 which did not include the original $150 diagnosis fee. Parts $150, labor $525 plus taxes. I watched a video on YouTube, order the part for $62 and installed it in 10 minutes four days later with a screw driver. This company is terrible. Rip off pricing, lousy service and they outsource their phones to the Philippines (service guy told me that). Don’t use them…
