NEVER go here for trouble shooting a problem. I had a problem with my car not starting and brought it to the service center. They told me my battery tested very low and that the battery needed to be replaced. After going back and forth with a different battery retailer who claimed my battery tested fine, they finally gave me a new battery (it was under warranty and only 15 months old). A week later my car was completely dead again, so I then took it back into the dealer. They claimed the battery tested fine, there was no draw, and everything else looked fine. I asked multiple times for them to test for a draw on my aftermarket dashcam and carplay. They tested for the draw AFTER disconnecting my dashcam and claimed it showed no draw on my radio system/carplay. $175 later for the diagnostic testing and still no answers, I took it elsewhere (they told me there was nothing else they would do) which told me right away there was a draw and could identify it was the carplay. My service rep, Devin, put on a front to make it seem like he cared/was knowledgeable when really he could care less and wanted me out of his hair with no solutions. He completely ignored my concerns, was very defensive, and had no motivation to find the problem. Very disappointing experience from a dealership, as they should be experts in customer service and knowledge. Unfortunately, they were far from it.

I've leased three vehicles from Acura of Ellicott City and it's always a positive experience. The sales team makes sure you get the vehicle that works best for you - not them. They care about what I need rather than focus on making sales/commissions like I have experienced at other dealerships.

Recently, my car was towed to Acura of Ellicott City after my teen son hit a curb. The damage was more extensive that it appeared at first but Devin (my repair contact) got me in a loaner car and updated me constantly on the repairs, the progress, and the unexpected problems. I completely trusted Devin and although the whole situation of having my car out of commission was stressful, I felt reassured and relaxed knowing I could rely on Devin.

I highly recommend Acura of Ellicott City for your purchase/lease needs as well as repairs!

Excellent experience with my Sales Consultant Quon Taylor.

This dealership embodies the epitome of crooked car dealerships you see in movies. Reminded me of the movie Matilda and I was looking for Danny DeVito to show up. Actually this place houses several clones of him especially our sales guy Damon who used the typical obvious "pressure strategies" including made up stories right from the getgo. What an experience! Glad the deal fell through and that we were able to escape from this Twilight Zone unharmed unlike others from what I've been reading.
