Mr. Murphy was awarded a masters degree in counseling from Southern Connecticut State University. His academic degrees are coupled with more than twenty years of proved experience working with and counseling college students. Furthermore, he has worked extensively with individuals with disabilities in the university environment. College students struggle with the inability to manage time and study efficiently. These teachable skills are the keys to success. The challenge our service addresses is converting time management and study theory into applied skills. Once the student has successfully adapted these skills the student becomes self-reliant. To reiterate, the goal is for the student to become a self-starter and self-learner accountable to himself/herself.
