About Mike's Pet Care

Hi, I'm Mike.  I was born in Utah and grew up in Southern California. Besides raising and training my own pets over the years, I started my animal health career at a greyhound rescue and blood bank called Hemopet in Irvine, CA from 1997-1999.  I have fond memories of working with over 100 greyhounds in my two years of service.  I decided to become a veterinary technician and joined a local veterinary hospital in June of 1999. In 2001 I became lead technician and remained so until my departure in 2007.  In 2006 I graduated top of my class from Professional Veterinary Assistant School in Garden Grove, CA. After having passed the California Veterinary State Board Exam, I am now licensed and registered as a veterinary technician. Now in my 6th year, I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with the community through my services at Mike's Pet Care.

When in need of someone knowledgeable and compassionate about EVERY animal under the sun, this is the guy! Never have I met someone with such a big heart for animals and caring for them...not only that but he's a great person. You wouldn't want to leave your animal in the care of anyone else :)
