Crazy long appointment for oil change. Ruge's and Colonial gave me appointments much sooner. If it wasn't for Amanda, we would have left shortly after Peter and Rob had left. Scheduling of appointments is terrible.

Subaru couldn't repair subaru.
I was very disappointed. Took my outback for repair cause engine light was on they kept my car for almost a month, charged me $1000.00 and couldn't repair my outback. They gave it back to me the same way. They made excuses as to what the problem could be then insulted me by telling me that they had no way of being sure what the problem was because I didn't buy the car from them so they didn't have the history of the car so they couldn't repair it. I was hurt and didn't know what to do because I really loved my outback. Then I was told that if I wanted to trade it in I could get some money for it but I didn't want that. I wanted my subaru fixed and they couldn't do that. So they gave it back to me and sent me off after taking my money. A friend of mine recommended another repair shop I took my outback there and sure enough they fixed the problem. They had to order a part which took 3 weeks to get but they fixed it. That says alot about the technicians at subaru. Anytime when you can't fix your own brand that says alot about you. They made me feel like I didn't want a subaru but I really loved my car. Shame on you subaru. What your techs did to me was disgusting. Took my money, didn't fix my car, made excuses and sent me off. Real technicians know their craft regardless of where the car was purchased. Subaru technicians did not know their craft and were not skillful. I was more than disappointed just saddened and taken advantage of.

Just purchased a 2017 Legacy 3.6 ,my 3rd Subaru since 2008 and turned down another dealer for $419 less money. Mid-Hudson is honest, loyal to there customers and stands behind there work 100%. The sales team Wayne ( my sales person ) was caring, listened to me and did not try and pressure me with typical car salesman BS. Wayne knew his product, was honest about delivery dates and never tried to rush me in the process. Wayne is a long time pro, who cares about doing the sale correctly, not cutting corners. He went over every detail of the car and when he had a doctors appointment on the day that i requested delivery he ask another sales Consultant, Patricia to step in to accommodate my schedule, instead of me having to conform to his schedule. She also was top notch in explaining all of the hi-tech features of my new 2017 Legacy to me in very simple English and was a great teacher. She gave me her card and said, "call back with any questions," i am not even her customer and she left her door open for future use of her time. They were a team of professionals, not a bunch of hustlers. Years ago i purchased an Audi and on the delivery date, i was hustled out the door in 10 minutes, so my salesman could spend his time with another customer. The entire dealership from Tom the sales manager, to the finance mangers all let you know that you are valued.

Mid-Hudson Subaru is the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and having my car serviced/repaired at. Staff here are extremely helpful and treat you like family. They do excellent work, and are always attentive and accommodating to the client. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a top notch experience. I am always grateful to Mid-Hudson Subaru for the help they have given over the years. I will always be going to them for future service on my car.

We drive two Subaru Imprezas. They have been serviced at Mid Hudson Subaru since we moved to Dutchess County five years ago. Service staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Work is professional and promt. I think the following says it all. In 50 years of marriage, this is the only auto repair facility my wife has ever been comfortable bringing her car to alone. She knows she will be taken care of and never taken advantage of.

For 8 years we have been beyond satisfied with sales and service at Mid Hudson. There is new ownership and new management and almost all new customer facing staff. New, but not necessarily better. Gone, in my opinion, is the feeling of trust and lack of unnecessary upsell. The vibe is not unfriendly, but it is condescending with a smile.
My observation is that the changes are not for the better.
