On the surface, they look great. We had a prior bookkeeper make a mess of our books and hired Mergix to fix that mess. Their answer was to do a bunch of mass deletions making an even BIGGER mess of our books. We also got conned into hiring Adam to do a business review. This cost us $10,000 and all we got were some very old spreadsheets and the advice to "raise our prices and cut our wages". We feel stupid for letting them steal so much money from us! We found them through Intuit's site for authorized service providers. Don't waste your time and money!

I was saddened to see the Google review that you left for us. If you remember we tried reaching out to see how we could continue to help and neither of you returned our calls. We decided the best thing to do was to respect your decision to end services. When you came to us you told us that another firm had made a mess of your books. We cleaned up everything to your satisfaction and worked on the issues long after you'd ended services to insure everything was complete to your satisfaction. There are no emails from you stating that this was ever an issue or that you were unhappy with the service that we provided. In addition, you were not considering applying for the second round of PPP funding as Mark stated that he had reviewed the qualifications and didn't believe you qualified for the additional funding. I personally reviewed everything and let you both know that you did indeed qualify. Once you received the funding you decided that you wanted to pay us to review what happened with the business and determine if there was a way to quickly turn things around before you ran out of money. The $300K that you received is 100% forgivable and funds that you wouldn't have had to continue to keep the business open had you not called us. We did everything that we said that we would do and would have continued to help you work through how to salvage the business if that's the direction that you wanted to go. Since you requested to terminate services without any explanation and without taking another call from us to try to help us understand what happened, we weren't able to do that and didn't charge you anything in addition to the money that we'd agreed upon for the services that we rendered. We wish you all the best and hope that you are able to turn your business around and find joy in the journey.
