We moved to Merced from Daly city in 2023. Since we moved here, we have been going to the Merced toyota dealership to service our cars. We traded in our 2 toyotas to buy a 2024 rav 4 at the dealership. We are very lucky to meet Kevin at the Toyota dealership. He always treats everyone with courtesy and respect. He is very professional. He always goes out of his way to help us. Kevin Koker is the reason we will continue to use the merced Toyota dealership to service our car.Report

Had a terrible experience. So much for a "smart path" way of purchasing. I had completed the entire purchase online and low and behold I arrived to the dealer and they tried to get me. Was told a price for my vehicle being used as a trade in and they offered 4500 less than what was quoted online. This is a vicious bate and switch and is a bad way of doing business. I have purchased cars before online and this just seems to be another dealer who baits and switches with prices/offers. So much for wanting to create a long term customer. I will make sure to let others know.Report
Update in response to statement:
Incorrect the business initially told me they were only able to give me 19.5k for my vehicle and it was shortly after bartering that you guys asked me to take it to car max or sell it else where. 19.5k is a laughable amount and if it was any other person you would have taken advantage of them. After some deliberation you agreed to match the 22k that car max was offering. Now as to the quality being deemed perfect you could not tell me anything that was wrong with my car and said you couldn't honor the price (a 2022 Crosstrek limited edition fully loaded with only 42k miles)because you felt you could not sell my vehicle. The bait and switch lies in the fact that toyota is using false trade in values (initially the website told me I would get 23900 on my vehicle)to get you through the door.
