My grandparents have been going to Dr.Guevada for over 20 years and while my grandfather has more attentive care at the VA, my grandmother has been totally left behind and neglected by him and his staff. She has had dementia for over 15 years and has never been referred to a neurologist until recently. She is suffering and though I had the consent forms signed to have access to their records, they won’t give them to me. I need to know what medication she takes because she hasn’t been taking them correctly and they won’t help me. Mini and Jessica hung up on me and now they won’t answer the phones. She needs to take her medication so she doesn’t get worse and they don’t care !

I needed just a simple blood test for my thyroid levels. 1.5 hours just for the blood draw, Haven't yet been able to get the results after 7 days elapsed time. Cannot get into their portal to see results of test. Phone call to SPI practice results in "non working" phone.
Called head office in Brownsville, SAME RESULTS "non working".
My discomfort level is causing muscle and joints to ache almost to unbearable levels.
Why is this so darn difficult.

Great all in one place. The only thing...is that the reason for all the bad comments is that you have to know what your going in for. Dr. Guevara is quick. He will see you and pay attention to you and your symptoms but if you go in there and not explaining yourself, nope. If you have questions about cancer or other factors let him know. Yes you need insurance. I have also been victim of not having insurance but like most places they work payment plans however if you don't have insurance. I feel you. Its hard. Anywhere. Even the Brownsville community health center. So just go to Mexico. If you can.
