They have been serving the needs of over 4000 families and businesses in Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland counties since 1960. They are also one of the largest Erie insurance agencies in the area. We are currently celebrating our 50th anniversary in business!
The third generation family run agency was started in 1960 by Grandfather Dennis McElhinny. Son Richard McElhinny started with the firm in 1973 and is a boat coverage specialist. Richard brought his sons Timothy McElhinny CIC LUTCF into the agency in 1988, and Thomas McElhinny CIC LUTCF in 1989. They currently employ 7 full time licensed agents and a life insurance specialist. They are committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence in all that they do and to establishing a firm relationship of mutual trust and service with each of their clients. Simply stated - they treat individuals in the same manner as they like to be treated.
