Add ReviewMy friend, a loyal Honda customer for over five years, has been treated incredibly unfairly by this dealership. Ever since he purchased his Honda, he has brought his car here for every repair and oil change, trusting them with his vehicle. That trust has now been shattered.Report
Recently, his car had a fuel tank recall, and he brought it to this dealership to have it replaced. After waiting a considerable amount of time—which, to be fair, is understandable—he got his car back only to find that his side view camera had suddenly stopped functioning properly.
Let’s be clear: the camera worked PERFECTLY before the car was brought in for the recall service. The ONLY people who touched the car were the dealership’s technicians. Yet, when he took it back to have the camera issue looked at, they claimed it needed a repair and had the audacity to say he should cover part of the cost!
The manager’s so-called “solution” was to offer a 50/50 deal on the repair cost, but only if my friend accepted it within a month. Are you serious?! Why should he pay ANYTHING when it was clearly the dealership’s responsibility? The car was fine when he dropped it off. Something was clearly damaged while it was in THEIR hands.
This isn’t about negotiating or making a “deal.” This is about taking responsibility and treating loyal customers with the respect they deserve. Instead, this dealership is trying to pin their mistake on the customer, which is absolutely unacceptable.
If this is how you treat your customers, then consider this a warning to anyone else thinking about bringing their car here: Think twice.
When I repair my car at McConnell, they broke down my car's side mirror camera and they said they will fix it for me if I paid $1,319.Report
And they just keep passing the call to someone else and don't answer. In the end, after I kept complaining, they asked me to split the payment 50/50.
Isn't this a robbery?
It's really the worst service.
Took my car there for an "Express" Oil Change! That Express was only 2 hours long!! Why does it take 2 hours for an oil change! Just glad they have decent waiting room area!Report
Trying to get my window replaced in my Honda Ridgeline has been a nightmare! I had an appointment to get an estimate I show up they have no clue what’s going on..finally after being here almost an hour it got figured out when I told them why I was here to begin with.Report
Then I give them the paper from my insurance showing where they email the estimate…they never email it, insurance contacts me like do you still need this I send the estimate it is approved.
I then have to jump through more hoops to get an appointment because it takes the lady days to email back I was given an appointment time I could not have explained that to her got a Monday appt, show up Monday and the guys can’t find me then comes back and says your spot is on Thursday no sir I have the email confirming today! So all this happens and I miss the 8am shuttle so now I get to wait almost an hour for the 9 am shuttle when I could have been on the 8am.
I have spent thousands at Honda dealerships to take care of my truck and I will never come back here!!!
