Established in 2009 by Peggy Kolowinski and Shirleen Walker, Maxie Brake Release is a family-owned and operated company located in Algona, WA. Former school bus drivers and Maxie Brake Release co-founders, Kolowinski and Walker, invented the Maxie Air Brake Release in an effort to ease the amount of pain they experienced from constantly setting the air brakes in school buses.

Invented out of necessity, the unique Maxie Air Brake Release is available in two sizes(small and large) to accommodate varying sizes of air brake releases in bus and semi-truck applications.
