Tim Meyer is by far the best therapist I have ever worked with. I cant thank him enough for how much he has helped me! Going to the Lukin Center as a whole was a great experience as well and I am forever grateful for them for connecting me with Tim.

There are literally no words worthy enough to describe what a phenomenal therapist and person Tim is. I have been under his care for several months now and the progression and transformation I’ve experienced has been like no other. Tim is objective, insightful, calming, logical, funny, and it’s crystal clear he loves what he does because he, without a doubt, stands out from all the rest. He has a way of opening your eyes to the things that were right there all along. This, coming from a self proclaimed introspective and analytical person, is no small feat. We have recently begun EMDR therapy and it is surely a powerful and effective tool at processing traumas in your life in a controlled manner. Side note: As a writer, I’m rarely at a loss for words, but found it somewhat difficult to express the tremendous impact Tim has had on my life, so I hope I did him justice here.

Dr Lukin literally saved my life! After seeing numerous psychiatrists and psychologists and being told I suffer from Anxiety and Depression, I went to see Dr. Lukin who properly diagnosed me with OCD. He knew the exact treatment for me to overcome my obsessions/fears. He was very understanding and patient: the first several sessions mostly consisted of me denying that I had OCD and him patiently helping me accept the diagnosis. Not only was Dr. Lukin patient with my denial, but also patient and understanding with my propensity to self-medicate with alcohol, helping me combat my nightly urges to drink. Additionally, he always knew the right thing to say to guide me through my time of fear and trauma, without offering reassurance, as that would be detrimental to the treatment. Finally, Dr. Lukin never takes any notes during the session, but, impressively, he never forgot a single detail of my life over our 18 months of treatment. I lived for 20 years in a constant state of fear and rumination, but now thanks to Dr. Lukin, I can happily say that I live a complete and meaningful, obsession free life.

Dr. Lukin and our work together has been life changing. His knowledge, professionalism and calming approach in cognitive behavior therapy has been highly effective for me. I highly recommend working with Dr. Lukin.

I have been working with Dr. Lukin for over five years, and can not express in words how great he has been to work with - but I will do my best here.
