Loon Lodge on Lake Superior

This place is fantastic. All the comforts of home on the beautiful north shore. Everything you could possibly need is available ... from kitchen gadgets to cushy bathrobes to laundry detergent and dog leashes. The beds and linens were top notch and the indoor garage parking was a treat. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at this wonderful property. The home is extremely clean, decorated beautifully with a fully stocked kitchen but our favorite feature is the lake view! This is the one place my husband looks forward to as a retreat from his 24/7 EMS job. I think a tradition has been established because we are already looking forward to returning next year.

We rent from VRBO, Airbnb & independent rentals on a very regular basis. This is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. I did not even rewash the dishes before we used them :) The views of Lake Superior are stunning from the home, especially in the master bedroom. I love to get cozy on a rock near the lake and just listen to the water. I found the perfect rock just a few feet from the back door. We will be back again for sure!

Absolutely beautiful accommodations. My husband and i have been coming up here for so many afters his parents sold their home by Lake Tate. Rick Storlies accommodations became our next getaway spot on the North Shore

This place was amazing!!! It has every utensil you could think of!!!! Great beds, great view, and they supplied fresh bean coffee! This place fit a family of 6 adults fabulous! Main floor and deck was our meeting place! We will be booking again next year!!!

Owner is quick to respond when questions arise.
Home is clean and well- stocked in every way.
Many handy tips offered regarding restaurants, etc in the area. So peaceful.
