I hadn't received my sticker so they towed my car for expired registration which was only like 2 daysover. Which is fair and my fault. But their website says they are open 24 hours but technically they only tow 24 hours a day. I work nights so it was kind of inconvenient having to go in at 9. When I got there they were very friendly and gave me info that the apartment complex should have given me on how to prevent a tow when your tag is in the mail. I got to stand in the Lobby I got to watch on TV for years and can't imagine trying to fight in a space that small. All in all, I learned a lesson and got to experience a little Nostalgia!

I’m across the country. I’m just dropping by because this is my favorite show. I honestly want to meet y’all but in California doesn’t help…. I’ll drop by next time I’m in NC……

North Carolina Deceptive Trade Practice Laws Section 75-1.1 General Statutes. They towed a vehicle in a neighborhood that yes, is notorious for residents parking in the street, however they towed the vehicle at 2AM on a Tuesday- weird right? That was predatory. I was told that they "sit/patrol within the neighborhoods, *waiting for vehicles to park incorrectly* and tow them as soon as the owner leaves the vehicle". That is PREDATORY. When I asked if I was allowed to receive a copy of the images for my LAWYER, of the "reason" why I was being towed, I was told NO due to the image being Lizard's property. I asked if the dash cam was on in the tow truck, and conveniently, I was told it wasn't on. Suspicious. Not to mention the only positive reviews are either John Doe accounts/or a collection of them (12+) was posted all exactly the same time. Very Suspicious. For self-proclaimed christians, they are far from kind-hearted, genuine people. Hypocritical, at best.
-There are signs posted within the office that cursing isn't allowed or you will have to leave- which is an infringement within the First Amendment (Freedom of Speech).
-There are also signs everywhere saying that no recording is allowed on the premises- North Carolina has a one-party consent law with the Digital Media Law. That being said, it states that only one party has to consent to recording, even if it's a conversation between multiple people--which means you CAN LEGALLY RECORD on premises.
Long story short; it's a shady business with shady people. The show last aired August of 2014, it sounds like their royalty checks are running out.

* to add a response to the owners reply- i did not curse in the office, as i believe it does create a hostile environment. out of common decency, i followed the rules. i did not record anything on premises, out of common decency. i followed the rules. it seems like someone has their caps button locked on, or they’re yelling. either way, wouldn’t surprise me.
-to address the pictures- i was told by the (very sweet) gal at the front office that i wasn’t allowed to have them because they are “lizard licks property”. that sounds like a violation of contract— according to your reply! I asked if the dash cameras were on, and as i will state again, i was told they were not on during the time of the vehicle being towed.
Please do not treat me like i am uneducated, or asinine ( as in i don’t read the insane amount of signs posted literally everywhere) i’m simply stating my experience, and i don’t think anyone would appreciate the passive aggression from you.

Love your show. Hope it comes back on I still watch reruns!

Horrible people towed my honda from my driveway and charged me $775 after 6 days on there lot.
Someone lied to me and said they were closed on the weekend when they are open on saturday and charged for both days. Also charged fees for what looking at the car parked on the lot. The whole thing is set up to steal money from people who dont have it. If it was possible to give no stars i would. If i towed their car out of their driveway its grand theft auto. But a business does it and its call legit business.

$225 the first day if picked up before 5pm.

Called 9am Friday to ask if yall are open on the weekend and was told no. Man did not say anything about making an appointment.

Yes we did get the car back.
After going back and forth about the price. Since you charge fees for the car sitting in your full lot.

Learned our lesson.

Midnight Had to put my tag in the back window so that the guy would not knock it off and tow my car. It is legal. He is creeping around at night looking at all the cars plates. So messed up.
