Jeffrey B. Peltz: I was born in and currently reside in Brooklyn with my wife and son.
I attended the New York City public schools. In 1980 I graduated from the College of Staten Island with highest honors. In 1983 I graduated from Pace Law School in White Plains. In 1983 I was admitted to practice law in New Jersey Bar in 1983 and in 1984 in New York.
From 1984 to 1985 I was a partner in the law firm of Peltz & McSweeney located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. I returned to Brooklyn in 1986 and founded the law firm of Jeffrey B. Peltz, P.C. at 26 Court Street in Brooklyn. Since the establishment of the law firm of Jeffrey B. Peltz, P.C. my law firm has helped more than 20,000 clients in the areas of bankruptcy, divorce, family law, immigration, personal injury, real estate, wills and estates.
I'm a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and NACBA (National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys). In addition to being admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, I'm also admitted to practice law in the Federal Court of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York and the Northern District of New York.
