I have been to 3 local derm offices /med spas for laser treatments recently. I would rate Laser Clinique the lowest. When I made the appointment for a consultation, there was no option for meeting the doctor. I met a PA who did the laser treatments for me. The effect on my face was not obvious. Not sure if it was because of the machine they are using or the PA's techniques. No detailed after-treatment care instructions were given. By switching to another derm office in UTC, after 1 treatment I saw significant change on my face. They also gave me detailed instructions after treatment and subscribed me the right cream to reinforce the effect.
Last but not the least, they ask for 15%+ tips at the cashier. For facials at spas, I usually tip 20%. But for professional services, asking for tips is inappropriate, especially laser treatments usually cost thousands. Why don't we tip our dentists or physicians? This is ridiculous...
