Dave has helped me with 3 real estate transactions in the last 3 years, 2 purchases and 1 sale. Dave was a huge help to us as we went through the process of buying a vacation house for the first time. He was patient as we asked many beginner's questions, and spent many weekends getting to know the different parts of the Tahoe region with him. His knowledge of the pros and cons of different neighborhoods and locations was a real plus for us, and is a function of him being a local for many years. His candid assessment of both homes and locations was very helpful- surfacing issues we would have never considered.

He asked helpful probing questions to us as we homed in on what we were really looking for. As he got to know us better, he was able to feed us more listings that seemed like a good fit. We got outbid on one house, and found our dream house the second time around. It was a very positive process all around!

He's also been extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive as we get sorted out with local service providers and ideas for contractors etc. We don't feel like he abandoned us as soon as the deal closed, quite the opposite in fact! He's still by our side as a resource and a friend.

Working with Dave to purchase a home in Tahoe Donner was a delight. He is so thoughtful and kind, and negotiated masterfully with the sellers on our behalf. He knew the area extremely well and as able to point out local pros and cons of the various places we were considering.
He was very responsive via email and phone, and able to be at the property throughout escrow when we needed to rely on him for various things as out of town buyers. I felt absolutely confident deferring to his knowledge of the market and what is typically done in the area. He worked well with our loan provider and various other professionals to make the deal smoother than any I've ever been part of.

I was doing a 1031 Exchange out of a condo in Berkeley and into a vacation rental in Tahoe. I ended up closing on my condo in 6 days so needed to find the next property quickly. Dave found homes in a lot of different areas that met my needs, from North Lake to Kings Beach, Sunnyside and Tahoe Donner. Dave also helped us get the cabin for a great price and with the furnishings which saved us an additional $50,000. He made himself available for all the inspections which had to move multiple times because of the exceptional snow fall (24' while we were in escrow). I could not be happier with my new rental and with Dave.

Whether you are a first time home buyer, or looking to sell your lakefront, Dave's outstanding work ethic, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and integrity are impeccable.
