In 1994, Mark incorporated Kresge Contracting and continued to develop his professional team and services with complete custom remodeling. He has been, and continues to be, involved in the professional associations of NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association), NARI (National Association of Remodeling Industry), and the BIA (Builder’s Industry Association). He has held several offices within these associations and received awards for his contributions.
Through the years, he gained insight on how to create the systems and processes to provide the best value for custom remodeling and renovation projects. Through experience, Mark learned a different approach was needed for projects not requiring wall changes than for those complete remodeling projects that redesign the space. Mark realized he could better serve his clients by creating a second company to focus exclusively on those renovations.

The Designer then guides clients through selecting the style, color and texture of all features for their remodeled space utilizing the Kresge showroom for a hands-on experience. The project is then completed with the highest standards and professionalism under the careful shepherding of their project manager.
