Can someone take care of Mike at Kia in Owings Mills. Mans is playing with my time when all I'm trying to do is pick up my car. Can the management make sure to keep his number for customers that need to get a hang of him. Thanks.

I had a wonderful experience with koons Kia of Owings Mills . It was my first time to use their service but I was treated like a frequent customer.
The service department kept me informed and explained everything with clear understanding.
I highly recommend the service department and will definitely return for service.
They CARE ??

Do not go to this dealership if you are not from the area. They will have you come a long way and sell the car they know you want right before you get there. I understand dealerships are having a hard time right now but if you know some one is coming from over an hour away why would you sell the car they coming to buy. Not a good way to handle your business at all.

This is the second time I have purchased a vehicle from Koons Kia and both times I have been pleasantly surprised by how they treat their customers. Bottom line, like family. They follow through on everything they say they are going to do. Which goes SO far in my book. Adam Smith was an amazing and informative salesman and helped me get what I wanted in such a professional and timely manner. He also answered all my questions as well. I also spoke with Brian the sales manager and he was very friendly and accommodating as well. Koons has earned a lifelong customer with me!

100% recommend these guys here I honestly had a great experience at Kia koons,I have been looking to trade in my Toyota at many other dealerships this week and so I called the store and I talked to a very personable and well spoken guy for a sportage and I had the pleasure of meeting Carey while going over my trade in value and trade in process he gave me information on upcoming sportages that he thought I would look great in and it's safe to say that I will be coming back and buying the one he recommended for me and my family!
If you come to the store ask for CAREY!

Buyers please BEWARE. They are not honest. The below is my story and hopefully it helps you if you decide to go with them.

Unfortunately our experience at Koons Kia of Owings Mills was not positive and waste of time. We came to the dealership in hopes to purchase a car that we saw on their website. Unfortunately, we could not purchase the car immediately because they have not inspected it. Our sales rep asked us to come back the following week to purchase it because it will be inspected by then.We also wanted to negotiate the base price of the car and our sales rep kept saying he couldn't really go in details until we speak to the financial rep at the dealership. We also reiterated to our sales rep about the amount that we wanted to buy the car for. He said once the car is inspected, we can transition into negotiations.

Couple of days later, the car was inspected and we came back in to the dealership early in the morning before work to purchase the car. We met our sales rep and we started negotiations. Our initial offer was rejected and we left the dealership.

Within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership, I received a call back from our sales rep and he told us that we should come back because he is able to reduce the base price to as close as possible to our initial offer. At no point did he ever mention that we have to use their financial institution to finance the car in order to get the reduced base price of the car.

We turned back and returned to the dealership and started the paperwork process. When I finished the paperwork , the financial rep took us to the back office and we started going through the details. He told us the amount that the interest rate would be. First it was 6% (which is absolutely ridiculous for someone with a very high credit score). We then told him that we would not be proceeding and was about to leave. He said we should wait that he just received an email from another financial institution for a lower interest rate. The new interest rate "magically" decreased to 3.42%. When I saw the time stamp of when the email was received, it was before we went into the back office. Why couldn't he just be honest the first time? We declined the new interest rate and told him that we would be financing the car through our bank and we will come back in to purchase the car.

We left the back office and went to the bathroom. As we left the bathroom and walked towards the lobby, we overheard the financial rep and sales rep chatting in the lobby. The financial rep explained to our sales rep that we would not be moving forward with the car. Our sales rep became visibly upset. They also had an open discussion about our financial information and sensitive information in an open area where other customers are able to hear this. This is a clear violation of Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. As we approach the exit doors, the sales rep approached us and tried to convince us to still get the car. While he was chatting with us, he seemed very upset. A sales manager had to quickly interject and tried to help de-escalate the situation.

The sales manager tried exploring other options for us and even proposed a new solution. He told us that we can get finances through our bank we want and can come back. He pulled the financial rep we spoke with and told him to put the new proposal in writing. We went back into the office. What the sales manager proposed and what the financial person wanted to put in writing were two different things. We no longer felt comfortable to proceed and left.

30 minutes later after we left, our initial sales rep called us and threatened if we use other financial institution, they would not honor the reduced base price. I told him that this was not mentioned previously or while we were there. I told him I was disappointed and in mid sentence, he cuts me off rudely and he hung up the phone on me.

Five minutes later, he calls me back just to ask if he gave us the keys to the car because he is looking for it. We told him no and he hung up. He never apologized for being unprofessional and dishonest.

I had a great experience at this Kia dealership. I went out to look for my first brand new car and after visiting 6 dealerships I had my best experience here, thanks to Larry. He was very patient and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. He made my first experience with purchasing a car easy. I would recommend shopping with him if you are in the market for a new car!

This was the worse car buying experience of my life if I could I would give them negative stars. I came in to buy a car. I'm standing in the lobby and literally every sales associate walks by me and not one asked me if I needed help. Finally I shout hello and that's when a guy came to help. The young man who sold me the car was very pleasant and Jason(in sales, I think that's his name) but everyone after needs customer service training. I purchased a used car from this dealership. First they definitely give you below the Kelly blue book value for your car. Car max offered me $2000 and they offered me $500. Not to sure why one dealership offers more than the others. Second read your paperwork ? please before you leave. I purchased a car and the car I purchased wasn't on the paperwork ( they basically sold me the wrong car according to the paperwork). Two weeks after purchasing my car I get a phone call saying my vin is incorrect and I needed to come in to resign my paperwork. I get there thinking I'm just signing paperwork and I was told that the vehicle I have was not my car and technically I purchased another vehicle and if I wanted to keep my current vehicle I would need to come up with an additional $4,000.00 to pay to the dealership. I was so confused. (Issue was resolved after I threatened to get my lawyer involved and waiting for 4 hours to sign paperwork) third issue they couldn't find the title for my trade in car and I received multiple calls asking for the title that was given to them. On top of that the manager that was there the day I purchased my car ( I can't remember his name) was the definition of horrible car experience. I was forced to buy items that clearly state optional on the paperwork but according to him they weren't optional. So we went back and forth and finally I just took it because atp I was exhausted from waiting 3 hours to have my car apprised. Now currently the MVA is charging me for a insurance fees and threatening to suspend my licenses for a car I never owned due to the vin number mix up. Fourth issue I came into the service department because the car I just purchased was driving funny and I could feel something was off also the tire sensor and the battery in the key died (literally the next day after purchasing) according to the technician it's how the vehicle is supposed to be. I have driven in a lot of cars and never experienced that feeling. When I Accelerate I hear a grinding sound and the steering feels funny. I will be going to the manufacturer for a second opinion. The tire sensor was fixed but three days later it came back on which means it's a system glitch and they never changed the battery in the key and I have contacted them multiple times about helping me obtain an additional key from there key person. No response. Please find another dealership and save yourself from dealing with this

Update: my experience is still going bad. I canceled my power train policy through the dealer. I completed the paperwork sent it in and was told it was take 8 to 12 weeks for it to be canceled. I followed up recently and was informed it wouldn't be canceled (even though I was informed it would be) that it would be reduced (which it wasn't). So I decided to reach out to SPP to inquire on the status since Koons couldn't provide any detail. And guess what they never received my paperwork from August. So now I have to resubmit and hope I will be Reimbursed because atp I am over the deadline for any reimbursement. This has been THE MOST HORRIBLE car buying experience I have ever had. Since I bought this car it has literally been some type of issue every month
