I took my 2014 Camry XLE in for service because the transmission was shuttering. I researched the symptoms online and found there was an extended warranty from Toyota because this was a huge problem and had to tell the service adviser that info. Toyota issued a 8 year 0r 150,000 mile warranty that includes 897,000 Toyota's from 2012 to 2014 for that transmission issue. He looked in his computer and started smiling and said that I missed the warranty period by 30 days. I said well how can that be its a 2014 and he said the car was sold here new in 10/2013 so the repair will be $2900.00 plus tax and fees. I said well since this is a Toyota you will be able to do a good will repair because the car only has 115,000 miles on it and he said no. I traded the Camry in (different dealer) and took a huge loss on the car. I told him no more Toyota's for me and he said you can't hold one model year against the manufacture and I said really? I told him to google Corolla oil sludge or Tacoma frame rot or Camry piston rings or Toyota torque converter. I am sure there are more out there. If they would of just split the bill with me on this manufacturing defect I would of been happy. Shame on you Toyota.

I emailed him like he asked me to right away and guess what? You guessed it I received no reply. This is just part of big business. Make it look like you really care :) Not sure what he could of done anyway but would of been nice to at least reply.

Bruce did a great job getting us the car we wanted. Management stepped up on our trade price. Overall customer service was great. Thanks Kings Toyota.

Sales knew little to nothing along with the sales manager very little knowledge didn't care about the customer at all and didn't even go over anything about the vehicle very quick only trying to get the sale will never go back worst dealer I have ever been to.
