Love how Jodie reminds everyone along the way to check positioning, tuck chin, align feet etc. She also provides guidance for all levels so her class caters to everyone. Positions and movements are based on personal ability and level rather than a standard fit for all.

I've attended Jodie's yoga classes for over 10 years and I love them. Jodie has options in each pose for all levels from beginner to advanced and it's easy to adapt for whatever you are feeling on the day. Jodie also includes poses to accommodate individual's requests which are invaluable if you have something in particular that you need to work on. Love Jodie's classes and would recommend to anyone.
Zoom classes available, its great to be able to do yoga at home with an experienced teacher. The yoga poses etc are adapted to suit the abilities of all participants. Jodie has a friendly relaxed approach that will put you at ease. I have been going to Jodie classes for many years now and find her approach knowledgeable, professional and holistic.
I started doing Jodie's classes 14 years ago on the Gold Coast and since moving to Tasmania I have been able to keep doing the live classes via Zoom. I am able to do classes almost daily in the comfort of my own living room using my own equipment.
I have gained strength and flexibility thanks to Jodie's classes. She is very experienced and caters for different skill levels and takes requests and feedback from her students.
I am a 53 year old man and found Kevala Health about 4 years ago.
My life has changed so much since then.
From being introduced to yoga and how it is so important for my flexibility at my age, also balance as I age.
Learning through the classes on how to improve my quality of life with reduced pain, from old injuries. Becoming more outgoing and confidant through the process I did have anxiety most of the time which has reduced significantly.
I am also finding how important by healthy food groups and choices this helps my body on recovery from a hard days work, or to a great adventuress weekend out and about.
I never thought this Tradie would do yoga and healthy living.
As my attitude was yoga was something you ate.
I love this way of living. My last blood test my Doc of ten years said what ever I am doing keep doing it, as these are the best results I have on you.
I am going to continue on this path.

A special thanks to Jodie
After living in the Byron/Ballina area for 18 years and practicing yoga twice/week, I moved to the Gold Coast. I was suffering severe Anxiety at the time. So, I was lucky to find Kevala Yoga classes nearby. The past few years I have been doing yoga with Jodie in class. More recently, I have been doing the online classes 2-3 times/week.
Jodie has a lovely, calm and encouraging manner. She makes everyone feel welcome and allows students to work at their own level. Kevala Yoga has enabled me to overcome my anxiety and increase my overall wellbeing. I highly recommend Jodie as a yoga teacher.
