Dr. Kenneth D. Erickson, D.C., an Irvine Doctor of Chiropractic, began his involvement in the chiropractic profession at the age of 15 when he worked as a Chiropractic Assistant for a chiropractor while still in high school. He was fascinated with the chiropractic approach to health and wellness as a wrestler in high school and found that chiropractic care kept him off the 'walking wounded' list that many of his teammates constantly found themselves on.. Dr. Erickson, co-owner of Irvine Spine and Sport - an Orange County, CA Chiropractic and Spinal Decompression Clinic - completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, then went on to graduate from Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic with Honors. He is also certified in Active Release Technique. "I am most known for diagnosing and correcting especially complicated functional problems-issues where various other treatments have failed," says Dr. Erickson. "Most notably with low back, shoulder and knee cases where surgery appears to be the only solution.
