Katy Birth Center is wonderful! The receptionists are always warm and friendly. The nurses are all so wonderful and knowledgeable. My entire experience with Nolana was amazing, she made my first out of hospital birth so smooth. I felt safe from beginning to end which was my biggest concern. She was so attentive throughout my pregnancy and the long appointments really helped me to trust her when it came time to delivering my baby.

I can’t say enough great things about KBC! If you are considering out of hospital birth, just know you will be in great hands with these midwives. Your midwife will know you profoundly better than your OB ever will. They take their time to actually TEACH you how to give birth and how to be in excellent health in order to have the best possible outcome for you and your baby. I had one unmedicated hospital birth and felt judged, rushed, and belittled. My experience at KBC was wildly different, obviously they believe in women’s natural ability to birth their babies but they are so attentive to prevent complications. They allow you to labor and birth in peace, which is all I wanted.

Thank you Katy Birth Center for the most wonderful prenatal experience and thank you Nolana for brining my second daughter into this world ????

It’s been a year since. Taken time to recover from this traumatic event that KBC put is through.

Fact: Melissa is flat out incompetent.

1. She didn’t know how to take and/or record the correct BP readings using a manual cuff. This resulted in pre-eclampsia and eventual hospital admittance - post pregnancy - which could have been prevented if the recordings were correct reflecting HBP!

2. On the day of delivery, baby came in a week early and this lady never answered the phone when we called to state that the momma is in active labor. She texted and said have your wife text me…. During active labor? I delivered the baby in our own bathroom. Thank God for Connie that came to help post-delivery.

3. Save your money & go elsewhere. There was no cost difference birthing at home w/o any midwife help or at the center. You wont get your money back if you do the former.

I really cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at KBC. The entirety of my pregnancy care with Connie was peaceful, informative and thorough. I felt so incredibly prepared for my birth and was able to have the unmedicated birth of my dreams. Today was my final appointment (6 weeks PP) and I am sad to say goodbye to all of the wonderful midwives and assistants that make this place so special. I highly recommend touring and getting to know some of the women here if you are interested in a beautiful, empowering birth and wonderful prenatal care.

This place is a disgrace, such a bad experience and should be closed down permanently for not practicing fair and quality services . I would not recommend ????????????

We LOVED the Katy Birth Center! We had Melissa as our midwife and she was nothing but supportive and very knowledgeable the entire pregnancy, labor and postpartum period. We felt very cared for during our time there, it felt like family going in to the birth center and now it feels so weird to not be there anymore. Some of the things we loved: thorough and long appointment times that helped cover all basis/any questions we had, numerous resources, very personable, and very informative. My husband and I agreed that this was perfect for us, especially as new parents. Now we have our sweet baby girl with us and get to keep sharing our stories from the birth center with our friends. We are truly grateful!

I have had 3 babies under the care of Katy Birth Center. Connie was my main primary midwife and during the 4 years under her care I was very well looked after. She always answered my text and phone calls with practical and knowledgeable advice. During the births , she was amazing; Supportive and calm and I always felt safe and relaxed too.
It is wonderful to have pre natal appointments with the same person who will also attend your birth. The birth center itself has a lovely environment, calming and welcoming. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Katy Birth Centre again!

We couldn't say enough good things about the Katy Birth Center! Staff is beyond Amazing! They where so welcoming throughout my pregnancy's and after birth! I gave Birth in 2023 and still one year later I think of my memories of our experience! I will definitely go back in the future!

Katy Birth Center has such a special place in my heart. The midwives here are patient, kind, warm and intelligent women that are passionate about caring for mamas and their babies. Prenatal appointments were something I always looked forward to. I was given as much time as I needed to chat through whatever was on my mind and that made me feel so cared for. If something came up that couldn’t wait between appointments, I utilized the client care portal to message my midwife and received quick, thorough responses. My midwife honored all of birth plan desires and truly had a servant’s heart throughout my entire labor. The way she helped me and encouraged me was so unforgettable, it brings me to tears. The support I received postpartum was also very special, as it is such a sensitive time. My midwife was gracious, encouraging and available to me whenever I needed her after I gave birth. I truly can’t put into words how grateful I am to have had my VBAC at KBC.
