Julio Petilon, MD, graduated from Amherst College as an All-American Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and received the Five College Latin American History Certificate at Amherst,julio_petilon MA. He received a Doctorate of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He followed with an internship at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA. Subsequently he served as a Flight Surgeon, for VFA-106, a training squadron for F-18 pilots in Oceana, VA, where he was a primary physician for the entire squadron and supporting teams as well as logging hundreds of flight hours himself.
