It pains me to leave a bad review, but I simply did not have a good experience and I'm left with unanswered questions.
I dropped off two pairs of basic, inexpensive slacks to be hemmed. As I was dropping them off I noticed a small, barely noticeable stain near the back pocket. I asked them to take care of the stain on that pair. I was given a pickup ticket for over a week later, Friday 3pm. They apologized about the wait, explained being very busy, I thought no big deal.
I arrived today, Saturday, to pick them up, and was simply told "sorry the computer says they're not ready."
"But, they we're supposed to be ready yesterday," I said.
In a long story short, she simply couldn't give me any info on when they would be ready. After a 3rd attempt She said a supervisor was checking on it.
The supervisor came out a few minutes later and said if I could wait 5 more minutes they just need to press them. I was happy. Great!
But, then I asked why the cleaning service was $15.50 for the single pair of pants. The supervisor said it was because of the material, whereas I pointed out that they were a basic, inexpensive pair of polyester pants so why the high charge? She pulled out a button up shirt that was also basic polyester and showed me that these were $7 to dry clean because of the material. Again, I asked "ok, these pants are polyester just like that shirt so what about this material is expensive to clean?" She just said "sorry, it depends on the material."
I realized there was no way I was going to get any information so I politely thanked her and left.
When I got home I checked to see if the stain had come out, and sure enough the stain is still there, so I obviously wasn't charged for a stain removal. To make matters worse the tag on the pants says do not dry clean, so if they looked at the tag to check the material they also should've noticed that and instead machine wash them. And again, they didn't get the stain out that I asked them to. To make matters much worse, they hemmed the pants too short. Definitely shorter than they were pinned when I dropped them off. I tried them on when she pinned them and walked around to check the length, but now they're definitely shorter than they fit when she pinned them.

How can I not feel dissatisfied? The one employee working the counter kept going in the back to see when it would be ready, but kept returning only to say "sorry it's not ready," more than once. Then the supervisor couldn't seem to tell me why the material of the pants warranted a high charge. The stain wasn't removed, and the hem was too short. I feel like I just spent $50 to end up with two brand new pairs of pants that I can't wear.

Simply put, I feel overcharged and it's slightly irritating that I couldn't get any concise information about the charge, and the hem was too short so I now have no use for these pants. I guess I won't be returning.

Sorry Rick, what a debacle. I hate excuses so I won't give you any other than to say that staffing is so difficult right now. We have our core people but this time of year they all want to take vacation so we are certainly playing the back ups right now. Let me have those items back, I will not only get out the stains but I will give you a store credit for your whole order so you can try us again under better circumstances. We can fix the hem too. Sorry for the trouble. And I won't make you wait a week, give me one day. Sorry again. Ben

I am so desperate for delivery service I will have to use them but yhey have missed my pick-up three times in a row stating it wasn't out. This time I even took a picture and sent it to them using their system and they indicate they didn't see it. It's on my porch!
The owner is nice and the work when done is good but it's rediculous they can't find my bag on the front porch. The only other thing out there is a pumpkin and a welcome sign.

Edit: I appriciate the repsonse and will re-evaluate my review in April 2022

Sorry Auriel, I understand we now have your bag. I would blame it on the help but it's really our fault for the pressures we put on the staff that we have when people are so hard to find. Everyone is working overtime and I worry about stuff like this. It's frustrating for me too. Anyway, thanks for pointing it out and please keep me posted. Ben
