I had a septo-rhinoplasty with Dr Barrera and at one month post op I couldn't be happier. I was very impressed with Dr. Barrera and his staff. Everyone was so professional, and his attention-to-detail gave me confidence that I made the right choice. My experience was wonderful, from consultation to surgery post op the staff was always ready and willing to answer questions. Trust me, if you're interested in a rhinoplasty you're in good hands with Dr. Barrera and his amazing team!

I would give this office 10 stars if I could. Dr. Barrera and Dr. G are absolutely amazing. The office staff, esthetician's and office manager Jennifer are so kind and have felt like a family to me, greeting me with the warmest welcome every time I come in! I had a pretty complex surgery on my nose with Dr. Barrera, we did so many things on the medical side and we did the cosmetic as well. Recovery was so easy I had no pain (didn't have any narcotics), swelling on day 3-5 which is to be expected and the 3rd day is the worst day, and almost no bruising. I got my cast removed today and I'm a week post op. I was almost brought to tears when I first saw my perfect new nose. He listened to everything I wanted and far exceeded my expectations. My nose is a little swollen as to be expected and I can't wait to see the final results as it goes down!

If you want a compassionate, skilled and knowledgeable plastic surgeon, Dr. Barrera is the surgeon you want. I did research on who was the best in the San Antonio area and he had great reviews so I decided to schedule a consult. I was pleased with the treatment plan and patient experience, that I decided to schedule my procedure on November 18th. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Barrera checked in on me before my surgery and talked me through what to expect, answered my questions, and even inquired about the book I was reading. He genuinely cares about his patients; the excellent patient care made my anxiety go away. Overall, it has been a great experience, my results were better than expected and I have since referred my friends and family!

I've hadn't fantastic experience with Dr. Barrera and his team. I recently had a rhinoplasty and Dr. Barrera made sure to answer all my questions and guide me through the process. On the day of surgery, everyone made sure I was comfortable and at ease. Overall, I am extremely happy with my nose and and my experience with Dr. Barrera. If you are considering a rhinoplasty, I would definitely recommend Dr. Barrera.

I went to Dr. Barrera to have my subaceous hyperplasia removed from my face. I explained to Dr. Barrera that I wanted a Co2 laser procedure. He performed the procedure and NONE of my lesions were removed. None! I think what he did was do a skin resurfacing procedure. Just guessing on that. Regardless, it was a complete waste of A LOT of money. He totally did not listen to what I wanted done. He gets 2 stars for being a nice guy with a nice staff.
