LOVED working with Joe for my maternity photoshoot. I booked both maternity and newborn photoshoot through Joe/Cristel. I believe Joe does most of the maternity shoot (Cristel also takes photos and helps with poses) and Cristel's specialty is the newborn shoot. I love that they encouraged me to wear what I was most comfortable in/felt the best in! The maternity shoot was such an amazing way to capture this special time in our lives. I was initially on the fence about it, but am SOO happy I went ahead and booked the maternity shoot along with the newborn shoot. It was nice to be able to dress up and feel beautiful during a time when my body was changing so much. Joe is excellent at direction during each shot. He is an expert at his craft and I was able to relax during the shoot since I knew I was in good hands and had confidence the pictures would turn out great (they did!). I love that Joe had suggestions for location for the photoshoot, but was also open to where I wanted to shoot (Dix park with the sunflowers). He actually went to the site a day before in preparation for the shoot to check out the lighting/location, which is amazing. Can't say enough nice things about both Joe and Cristel. Definitely don't hesitate and book both maternity/newborn shoots with them!

Great photographer to work with, and my photos are amazing! Joe is energetic, engaging, and a lot of fun, and he knows how to put you at ease to get natural headshots. Great lighting and artistic eye. Highly recommend!!

First of all, I would love to give more than 5 stars to Joe. He is all around AMAZING to work with and very detailed oriented with his photos and lighting. My bridal session photos and wedding photos came out so beautiful and stunning that they made me tear up. He is very sweet and responds to emails/messages fairly quickly! I highly recommend going with Joe!!

Simply put, we valued our wedding photos as the most important piece of our whole wedding. We fell in love with Joe's photos the instant we viewed his gallery on his page. Joe was very responsive and answered all of our questions. He talked with us and made sure he understood our vision. He is a phenomenal photographer and his work is so evident of this. His style is so unique because he captures details and moments you may be completely unaware of. His photos spell out a perfect story. He is so passionate about what he does and we loved having him. 10 stars! Joe went above and beyond. From our bridal portraits to our plan B backyard wedding due to covid, to bridal portraits and our rescheduled wedding. Joe is responsive, flexible, and SO TALENTED. He makes you feel comfortable when taking pictures and gives direction and feedback that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Also, his British accent is wonderful to listen to. His eye is incredible for the perfect light or reflection in the mirror or shadowed backdrop. So do yourself a favor and hire Joe, you will thank me for it!!!

My now husband & I found Joe Payne Photography online. His were the very first photos we looked at and fell in love with his work immediately. (Love at first sight...haha). From bridal portrait sessions to wedding day photos the quality and style of his images far surpassed our imagination. After meeting Joe for the first time we didn’t hesitate on choosing him for our wedding. He not only was the glue that held our fairy tale day together, he went above & beyond just photography. He was a true professional and an absolute joy to work with. He did exemplary work at the bridal portrait session and even more exemplary work on our wedding day. He worked tirelessly for many hours! For that we are so grateful! We just got our wedding photos back this week and our hearts melted as we looked at them. Trust me!! Booking Joe as our weddIng photographer was literally the hands down BEST decision of my entire wedding! Word of advice - he books up fast as he is highly sought after and recommended by many brides and wedding vendors/venues as one of the best wedding photographers, so get him if you can!

Personally, I don’t like attention, I’m a very shy person and he broke me out of my shell! He lead me every step of the way. He was so professional, never felt intrusive and made me feel beautiful in every moment.

For me, my wedding photos where everything. I am the bride that cared less about the actual event and everything about capturing my day in order to re-live the lasting memories for years to come. Joe did exactly that and more!

I told Joe I didn’t want the typical wedding photos. I wanted something unique, something different. And this is where his creative mind takes off. He is true artist! I told Joe I wanted to venture into woods in search of some scenic photos. Literally those were my ONLY directions. Joe did all the leg work from there. Prior to our wedding he ventured into woods to scout ideal spots, sent me locations and suggested times of day to make the most of sunlight. For the record I never asked him to do this. The level of effort and work he put into prepping for the event showed in the end results and made our day seamless!

I am not sure where to begin! I can not say enough good things about Joe. Joe is very professional and extremely friendly. You can tell he has a passion for photography and has a great eye for pictures. He was able to capture all the little moments on our wedding day that I do not ever want to forget. His attention to detail is incredible and I am so in love with the pictures that he took for both my bridal shoot and our wedding. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their pictures done!
